I ordered an item on 23 January. It was handed over to GLS on 24 January, with a scheduled delivery date of 29 January. Since that date, there has been no update whatsoever. Every time I contact GLS, I’m given the same useless response: “It’s still in France.” No explanation, no timeline, no accountability — just vague excuses. To make matters worse, GLS actually tried to blame an Irish bank holiday for the delay… of a parcel that is supposedly still sitting in France. That excuse doesn’t even make logical sense. What makes this even more ridiculous is that I placed multiple other orders on the same day (23 January), all shipped by other courier companies, and every single one of them has already been delivered without issue. GLS stands out as shockingly incompetent by comparison. Zero transparency, zero customer service, and zero reliability. This is hands down the worst courier company I have ever dealt with, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid them if you value your time, money, or sanity.
Got email from gls on 4 feb item out for delivery, further email at 19.54 item delivered and signed for by me, I wasn't home my daughter was ,contacted home no parcel. Emailed gls that night and supplier , phoned gls on 5th was told to ask my neighbours I said no because they had item details, they knew what van it was on and what driver delivered it. Was told it could take 3 days . Item arrived on the 6th delivered by my local postman not gls. Wouldn't use them again.
The worst courier company! They don't deliver packages to the address I provided, and they even tell me KINDLE to go look for the package at my neighbors' and other homes in my neighborhood! Bravo! Customers pay for delivery and have to look for it themselves. And when you call Costumer Service and ask the manager to call you about it, and you want to give them a phone number to call, Costumer Service tells you they don't have a pen to save my number! JOKE!
