I asked for a call beforehand but they just turned up. Bit more common sense might have been useful. Trying to get a sofa bed through a doorway without turning or tipping it. Scraped solid wood doorframes and wall trying to get the piece of furniture into the room, tried to tell them an easier way to get through but were in too much of a rush. Just don’t listen.
I was very happy with my delivery of a piece of furniture - it was well wrapped up. The two carriers telephoned before they arrived, they had noted I lived on a narrow lane and parked nearby. They were careful with the wrapped furniture, had to walk up a lot of garden steps, steep steps in the house and it was delivered in no time!
