Review Time
The admin aspect of the delivery was atrocious. Having made an initial email inquiry to establish a price I was informed by return of a number of options from which I chose the Eco option and paid. I was then flooded by Proovia branded emails encouraging me to click on the ‘Book Here’ button which I did. Unfortunately, the software made me fill out the performa and unknown to me had registered another ‘Order No’. This duplication caused potential serious consequences and resulted in the inexperienced support person to become very defensive And extremely rude.Her handling of the incident has convinced me NEVER to use this company again and I urge potential customers to think again before they commit to this arrogant, rude and defensive company. The booking of the job was smooth and worked well. However, the delivery drivers were rude, left urine all over our toilet seat and then stole all of the halloween candy intended for the children of our building and then littered the wrappers. Not impressed.
I have used Proovia before and thought they were really great but this time around I was a little disappointed on the service. The delivery was scheduled for the afternoon, up until 18:50. I assumed they weren’t coming as I hadn’t had any update and then they knocked on the door just after 9pm with the delivery. I live in a flat and the delivery driver hurriedly asked me something about opening the door to the building (I couldn’t fully understand him) to which I replied that it was fine to open it, leave it on the hook. He then left to go get the desk he was delivering, and I then heard a large bang. He had clearly gone back outside and not left the front door open, on the hook, as instructed, and was standing outside with the desk in his hands and the drawers had fallen to the ground. I opened the door and he said something blaming me because “I asked you to open the door” . He then rapidly walk inside but having seen how he had zero care for the piece of furniture (with the drawers still on the pavement outside) I followed quickly because I was worried about him hitting the furniture against things. I was right to be concerned as he knocked a leg of the desk against my newly painted room and has scratched the paint. I am disapppointed in the lack of care that was given to the item they were delivering and to my flat. There appeared to be two delivery men in the van but just one doing the handling and maybe if both had been involved and taken their time it would have been a little more careful:
