Returning items incurs postage costs, plus a £2 admin fee. With few physical stores left, returning items is challenging. I paid £5.99 for next-day delivery for a dress intended for a party, but it didn't arrive. This has resulted in unnecessary expenses and frustration. I won't be using this service again.
I visited a store recently and bought a necklace set that included earrings. The staff informed me that I had two weeks to return it. However, when I went back last week, I was told that I couldn't return or exchange the item due to the earrings being part of the set. I explained that I was not made aware of this policy; otherwise, I would not have made the purchase. The response I received was unsatisfactory, with the assistant mentioning that some staff are aware of this policy and that they try to train them. 'Trying' is not sufficient! This misleading information has left me frustrated, and I won’t be returning to the store. Be cautious when buying jewelry that includes earrings, as the staff seem unsure of their policy from day to day.
It took a month to finally be notified about my refund for returned items. After two weeks of back-and-forth emails, I received no assistance or even an apology! The customer service is truly disappointing. It's no wonder many businesses are struggling.
I ordered four dresses and paid for a premium delivery service, expecting next day arrival. However, the parcel never came as scheduled, with the delivery service stating it would arrive between 19:00-21:00. I received no updates from them. When I contacted the store, I was informed that my order would now arrive in 3-5 working days, which is unacceptable after paying for next day delivery. They didn't offer a replacement to ensure timely arrival. I'm really dissatisfied.

I then visited another retailer nearby where I received outstanding service from a friendly and efficient staff member, leading me to make a £150 purchase there.

It was refreshing to interact with customer service agents who attentively addressed all my concerns immediately. Their support was exceptional!
