Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I came in with a defective pair of Nike Air Max shoes after corporate emailed me directly telling me to return them here for store credit.Both the manager Caleigh and employee Hannah refused to help, refused to even look at the email, and told me things like:“Customer service works for us,” “We don’t have a corporate,” and “We’re not returning it.”I had to call corporate from inside the store, and only when corporate called them did they finally do their job.The staff at this location were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to follow company policy.Rack Room Shoes needs to fix the customer service at this store.
Bought a pair of Nikes at the Palatine IL store, and within one week of wear, the stitching started coming out between the sole and upper. Took the shoes back to the store but they would not accept the return even though the product was defective because they had been worn a couple times. The manager I spoke with was curt and unhelpful. Now I have to pay to mail the shoes back to Nike. Will not be shopping at Rack Room Shoes again.
I placed an order for two pairs of children’s shoes. They only ship out one pair. But both pairs had the same tracking number for some reason. In the delivery photo, you can see that there is clearly only one box of shoes. The package is shaped like one shoebox. The weight of the package should also be counted into effect that it weighs the same as one pair of shoes. I chat with customer service and sucks was trying to argue with me about the one box trying to act like two pairs of shoes could’ve fit in that box which is not possible being the weight and the size of the box. I need these shoes for my child for school. It already did not come in time. I tried contacting customer service over five times. I finally get through on chat and the person is not that bright and will not help me. They should be able to tell by the weight of the package that the shoes were missing. They should be able to tell by their inventory that they never shipped them. This is completely unfair. I paid for an item. I should receive that item. I will never order from here ever again. All I wanted was my kids shoes ….that’s it, never have I ever had this much of a hard time with a retailer before.
positive: prices are ok, shipped fast.bad: ship fedex ground economy, so only they can submit a claim to fedex, when your packaged is lost. so contacted customer support, which is a chat bot and it then eventually got to a human after about 5 minutes of that and you had to retype everting you sent to the chat bot and took them 12 minutes to find the order. only to be told they do not submit claims and your only option is to do a charge back on your credit card. bad outweighs the good. use some place else.
As a family of 5 buying shoes from Rack room in is always a plus in my book. They always have a deal going on with shoes plus you earn points when you spend money purchasing their merchandise and can use those earned points toward more merchandise when you come back and shop again!
I ordered two pairs of Ryka s Sneakers both pairs were wrong sizes. I ordered a size 8W seem like it was a size 9W the box said 8w but when I tried it on, it was very big. I have always for Ryka with no problem.. I want to return it, but I have to pay shipping. I don’t understand why they would charge you shipping if it’s their mistake and their product I will never buy again from them. And when you look on their website, it doesn’t tell you that you have to pay shipping back. It just says to your preference that leaves it open for discussion. they use FedEx, but it takes a week to get here. Unbelievable. I’m in New York and it came from California.
Bogo no longer applies to shoes that are popular, new balance, nike etc. Absolutely ridiculous, the whole schtick if rack room is bogo and now it no longer applies to the shoes that are purchased the most. They lost a customer of many years, dont spend an hour looking for shoes only to find out they don’t qualify for bogo. Such a waste of time, never shopping there again
I purchased 2 pair of Bebe sneakers. I have worn Bebe sneakers for more than 20 years. These are not genuine/authentic. The website doesn’t list what the material they use to make them but it feels like very condensed styrofoam, especially as much as they make your feet sweat. My genuine Bebe sneakers still have the name on the inside sole. After the first wear with the news fake ones, the logo disappeared. The other problem is how slippery they are. A tragedy waiting to happen for someone my age. I will never purchase from this vendor again.
