Wish I could give zero stars. I booked Radical Storage in Napoli, and when I arrived at the location it hadn't been open in years according to the business next door. Website says they're available for support 24/7 but this is not true, the chat function doesn't work. I ended up sending an email and wasting two hours in the centre trying to organise with another company, ultimately missing my train. By the time they got back to me they wanted pictures, which was impossible as A. It didn't exist and B. I'd moved on. Eventually they agreed to a refund, which I never got!
So easy to book and once I had found a convenient place to store my luggage, took a cab and took it there, the lady there scanned my code and that was it. So easy. Pick up later that day was just as easy. Very impressed and will use again.
We booked luggage storage in Belgium for 9am the following morning. We browsed nearby locations and settled on a nearby location listed as a hotel. Upon booking this location, we were given the details of the specific location, which was in fact not a hotel, but instead a small shop. When looking at the small shop on Google, it had a very large number of negative reviews, with many noting the owner is a scammer. We contacted Radical’s customer support team complaining that it wasn’t a hotel as described, and to their credit, they moved our booking. They moved it to an alternate location of their choice, which they stated was open 24 hours a day so would be open for us to drop our bags off at our booked time of 9am. Come 9am the following morning, the location they moved us to isn’t open and so we’re stuck with all our luggage in the rain. There we sat for 2 hours until the location opened up. The location itself was very apologetic and helpful, however did state they have never told Radical that they’re open 24 hours. When I subsequently made contact with Radical’s customer support team, they told us that as the booking had been partially used that there was nothing they could do about it, despite us not actually receiving the service we paid for (I.e. luggage storage between the hours we needed). In summary:- Radical clearly do not vet their locations, as the details they held on both of the ones we encountered were incorrect. - Radical will not provide the service you pay for and their customer support team will not even entertain the facts. I would strongly recommend using any other baggage storage service.
