Review Time
Absolutely ridiculous, I book 2 bags to be dropped near Euston station so I can get to Camden without fussing, before catching my train home. I arrived at the shop identified by Radical just after 10am (as booked) to find it well and truly closed. As I contact them, it takes 30 minutes for them to ask if they can relocate my bag drop, like I'd have just been stood around. The only reason it's not 1 star is they got a refund processed shortly afterwards, but there are so many baggage drop companies I could have gone with, I certainly wouldn't use again.
We were supposed to drop off some bags booked in for 9.30 am on Sunday morning in Carcassonne on 20th October at Superette de la Gare but it was closed. There were other people waiting too and they called to find out what was going on. A guy eventually turned up after 10.30 but then couldn't get the shop shutters up! He then went to drive off without saying anything, so I had to stop him to ask whether I should wait and he just shrugged and said no. He couldn't care less about the fact that we had been waiting there for ages. Because of this we missed a scheduled walk and had to waste even more time trying to find another place to drop off our bags.I requested a refund and was given one.
I do not recommend this company! We booked through Radical to store our bags at a location in Sydney CBD. The business was not open and despite Radical’s website stating they have 24/7 support, they don’t! Their customer service is appalling. I gave one star as we were able to eventually get a refund (otherwise if would be 0 stars).
A very friendly gentleman accepted my luggage and promised to take good care of it. He photographed the bags and explained the process, as this was the first time I’d used the service. A different gentleman was working in the shop when I came to pick the bags up but he was equally helpful. My only comment would be to perhaps have a larger sign to indicate that the shop is also the luggage storage service.
I booked the storage service, but when we arrived at the location we booked, both the people who work there and the contact on booking detail said they had no idea what Radical Storage is.So we contacted customer service and got switched to the other location that is not close.After that, I contacted them to ask if I could get compensation for the Uber costs. I was given an email and asked me to write to that email(with a really bad attitude). I don't understand why this can't be reported internally but asking the customer to explain the whole situation again.I'm so glad I decided to store the luggage one day before the last minute or I would have missed our flight.Piece of advice:1) Don't rely on the app, call the location to confirm yourself.2) Choose hotel or hostel if you don't speak the local language, I chose a small shop it was very hard to explain the whole situation to them. (Didn't expect I had to explain lol)BTW, your chat will disappear anytime. Take a screenshot if there's any information you would like to keep.
HORRIBLE experience. Zero stars. Place I booked at was closed, called a million times but no one answered. I was left stranded with a family and 6 suit cases. Had to catch a flight and almost missed it as I had to find alternative storage. Big regrets booking with this horrible company. ZERO STARS.
