Randstad should not be allowed to provide support to disabled students. I am blind and was pushed by the allocated support worker (Tarikebuna Kerekebuna). Physical assault is unacceptable, but even worse when blind. My support worker was snoring during taught sessions, for which my lecturers provided evidence. I was almost forced into the wrong car. Also, I was refused notes in accessible notes, despite requiring these to do my course. I made a complaint, yet the support worker's account was accepted at face value, despite witnesses being present. I will be taking this further, due to the distress I have experienced.
This feels like a scam, ghost jobs. I applied twice for a JLR role through Randstad, a useless agency. I completed the online assessment and passed it. The automated email said I would be contacted for the next steps, but two weeks have already passed and no one has reached out.I tried calling the Birmingham office number, but every time it goes to an automated voicemail saying there is no one available to take my call. Why the hell are they wasting my time and the time of thousands of others like me?
The interview and onboarding process was very efficient, and the staff were extremely friendly. Jonathan, in particular, was amazing throughout the whole process. He was very approachable, kept me informed, and made sure I was up to date every step of the way. Jonathan has genuinely given me confidence and hope that Randstad will be a great company to work for, and I'm looking forward to starting my journey with them.

Used to be good company. I worked for them. They got me into full time work for which I was truly grateful.Unfortunately, now bottom of the pile. These zero hour contracts should be a thing of the past. Poor pay poor attitudes of staff. Refuse to give references, because they don't want you to go to a better agency and be paid more. Currently I know somebody who is stuck with them because they won't give a reference so they can work elsewhere. By the way, this is after 10 years + commitment and loyalty.
Absolutely shocking service from the back office side of things! (Clearly based in India). I tried communicating with the Randstad Onboarding team but was getting nowhere! I recieved a call after 10 days of sending numerous emails, making countless phonecalls (with no reply, just rings out and eventually some promises of ' leaving the message for the relevant person ' to call me back) to different colleagues within the team and leaving a few voicemails, no response whatsoever! I could go on but I think you get the jist. The team on site were great however limited to what they could actually do which simply meant I had no choice but to wait for a miracle for Randstad to get back to me! Please employee people who're actually capable of doing their job and not sitting around twidling their thumbs! By far the most stressful onboarding process I've ever had to go through.
