Based on the reviews I had already read on Trustpilot, I honestly suspected that RentalPremium.it might not be reliable, especially considering the unrealistically low prices.Still, being misled until just 7 days before departure is simply not serious.They advertised a Peugeot 2008, 5 doors, automatic with A/C (or similar) for €38 for 15 days. At that price, I understand now why it was too good to be true — but keeping the booking alive for so long was misleading.I then received this message:“Good morning, RentalPremium. I tried to contact you regarding your booking with us. Unfortunately, we no longer have vehicles available for the days you booked. I wanted to inform you as soon as possible so you can still obtain a full refund and look for an alternative with one of our competitors. I have seen that prices are still good on Doyouitaly. Sorry for the inconvenience.”I must admit the message — and the subsequent WhatsApp exchange — were polite and respectful, and at least they informed me in time to look for another solution.For this reason, I am giving one star instead of zero (if zero were possible).Still, cancelling a booking one week before departure due to “no availability” after advertising such prices is not a professional way to operate.

I recently hired a vehicle from Rental Premium and, unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn at the very end. The pick-up process was smooth and everything seemed perfectly fine during the rental period. However, when I returned the car, the company suddenly claimed there was a scratch on the vehicle—something I did not see when I dropped it off. Despite having no evidence of this damage at the time of return, they deducted €100 from my card.On top of that, they added extra charges for returning the car “before opening hours,” even though the company is advertised as operating 24/7. This left me confused and disappointed. They also applied an additional “administrative handling fee,” which was never clearly explained.

Rented a car at Naples Airport in…

Rented a car at Naples Airport in November 25. I had rented 3 times before 2 times in Bari 1 other time in Naples. On all occasions. They found a a small scratch. Only I had photo proof it was there at start of rental. They would have charged me. In the November rental. When car was returned. He walked around the car at the very last moment got down on his knees. And point out a small scratch on the under side of the front Bumper. He knew what he was looking for. I had a photo which he said was not very clear. Had to go for my Fight he charged 850 euro of my Credit card. I am at present making a case to take them to Small claims court in Italy. I have insurance that will cover my loss. Which he said sure your insurance will cover it what's the problem. The problem is this practice is wide spread. And is fraud. Why is the Italian state are Tourist board doing nothing about it. You have been warned taking photos is no longer any protection against this fraud.

We hired a car form here we booked it for italy first thing was that they didn’t come to pick us up for about 90 minutes he kept calling saying he’s coming when they came they dropped us off the where we were supposed to pick up the car we didn’t get that car we booked they changed our car it was extremely dirty from the inside and the outside and the fuel tank wasn’t full either our flight back was really early we didn’t tell them we have a early morning flight and he said we can’t drop you off because it’s too early but we did tell them before we have an early flight we did tell them we were looking for a taxi when we found one it was really expensive it was for emergency and we paid 100 euros and the taxi driver didn’t give us a receipt and he took cash and they planet rental cars didn’t give us our money back apparently we need a receipt for the 100 euros to come back

Horrible experience with Rentalpremium – DoYouItaly should remove them immediately

I booked a car through DoYouItaly, provided by Rentalpremium, and it turned out to be the most stressful rental experience I’ve ever had.A few days before pickup, I was told the car wouldn’t be at Malpensa Airport as advertised, but 20 minutes away. They promised a shuttle from the airport, yet when I arrived there was no one there. I called and messaged over ten times — no response. Another customer was waiting since 8 a.m. with the same issue.After 1.5 hours, someone finally showed up — not even an employee, but a “friend helping out.” We were driven to a tiny, unprofessional office and given a different car (a Volkswagen T-Roc instead of the Fiat 500X I booked), full of scratches and dents.The car itself was fine, but returning it was a complete disaster. Despite confirming the drop-off time, no one was there when we arrived. I called and messaged dozens of times, but nobody answered. We had a flight to catch, so I had to leave the car and keys at the building’s reception and arrange my own transport.The same man from before eventually drove us to the airport — but only after charging €40, which I had to pay just to make my flight. Later, I received an email saying the car was “checked in” with no apology or explanation.This entire experience was unprofessional and stressful from start to finish. Rentalpremium should not be allowed to rent cars through DoYouItaly ever again. I strongly urge DoYouItaly to take immediate action and remove this company from their platform so no one else has to go through this.

I booked through Discover.com App and…

I booked through Discover.com App and purchased full coverage insurance separately, but when I went to pick up the car, they forced me to purchase damage insurance separately. In exchange, the original deposit would be reduced to €250 instead of €450. I paid the €250 deposit and the damage insurance. They said the deposit would be refunded due within 20 days of returning the car, but it's been two months, and I still haven't received a refund. I emailed customer service, but they haven't responded, and I think this is a scam. I don't know how to get my money back, so I'm currently contacting Discover.com but they say they're not responsible because the deposit is paid directly to the rental car. I definitely don't recommend them.

"Very disappointing experience with the car rental company in Naples: Despite providing my flight number and phone number when booking, I was not contacted when my flight was delayed. As the plane circled over Naples due to a thunderstorm, I was unable to reach anyone myself. At the location, there was no signage at all, the station was very difficult to find, and no one could be reached by phone. The reserved vehicle was no longer available, yet I was still charged the full price. I have not received any response to my complaint to this day. Absolutely not recommended!"
