I used to recommend these cameras to everyone. But I would not anymore. We’ve been having issues with our cameras in the -2 temp range where they fog up around 9pm and stay fogged till 10 am which for calving cameras isn’t handy. Reolink figured our seals were broken which is 8 cameras across the farm. But they won’t take them back on warranty unless we pay the shipping back. (they are all under 1 year old) I then ordered 4 new cameras while I delt with this warranty issues to get cameras back up for cows. When I placed the order is said no P.O. Box shipping so I placed it to a street address which the cameras to my suppose shipped Canada post which does deliver to street addresses or door to door. Contacting customer service to explain this I now have to wait for these cameras to not be delivered get sent back to them to ship them a different way before I can be refunded or order any other cameras.
I sought further technical advice regarding the battery capacity of a specific model. The online inquiry service offered some helpful information and enabled me to request a follow-up from a representative. Within just five minutes of submitting my request, I received the information I needed to confidently proceed with my purchase for an external time-lapse setup.
I faced a device initialisation issue with my camera (“failed to obtain configuration information”) while using the app on my iPhone (iOS 26.2). After several unsuccessful attempts to fix it myself—including a hard reset—I reached out to the support team. To my surprise, I was quickly connected to a representative via chat. We explored various solutions together, and ultimately, I managed to resolve the issue using my Windows machine, which worked well for me. The representative was very helpful, patient, and dedicated throughout the process. While I hope this problem gets addressed in the iPhone app eventually, I was pleased to discover an efficient workaround.
3 cameras I’ve received from this shit show all brand new and all faulty. I keep having to send back at my cost. 3 different problems with the cameras. They not worth the hassle wouldn’t recommend and customer service not great either
Impossible to connect to google home. Been through everything everyone suggested including tech support and still not working properly. I think they produce way too many poor products I had conflicting advice but eventually Reolink support sorted it out and I am now connected to google home.
