If I could leave a -10 I would. Hard work to find a scooter and when you do you get charged a fortune, no where to leave it anywhere near where we were staying so I took it back to where I picked it up from, oh no I couldn't leave it there for some reason I had to take it elsewhere. I ended up further away than I started. Wtf. What a joke. DO NOT USE.
I downloaded the app, which prompted me to get another app, claiming my first ride would be free. It was extremely cold outside, making the ride quite uncomfortable. The strong winds tossed me around, and the poor suspension made every bump feel worse. I must have looked quite miserable riding through the city on such a chilly evening. The situation escalated when I discovered I was being charged for my hour of discomfort. I was not at all pleased to see the notification on my banking app, especially as I struggled to open it with frozen hands, failing several times due to my lack of dexterity, risking frostbite. After many attempts and warming my hands, I finally accessed my account, only to find that I had indeed been charged for my 'free ride.' This moment caused me significant distress and anxiety, not to mention the onlookers who witnessed my struggle and eventual shock. I was left feeling anxious and somewhat afraid after this experience. It was so unreasonable, and I find it disgraceful. The whole incident has made me feel nervous and hesitant to leave my home, leading me to spend my days looking out the window. I sometimes see pictures of others happily riding e-scooters, and I wonder, why did this happen to me? Did it bring you joy to see me struggle? I don’t wish to involve a lawyer, nor am I seeking compensation. I simply ask the service to do the right thing and cancel or refund the charge. Is that really such an unreasonable request? Update: As a gesture of goodwill, they have refunded my 'free' ride, which I accepted reluctantly. However, I still view this as an attempt to take my hard-earned money. No compensation was offered, and I doubt they will consider it, despite the trauma I’ve experienced since. This concludes my review of my first and only experience with the service and their unsafe e-scooter. To you, the reader, I wish you well. To the service, I bid farewell.
I was on the verge of filing a formal complaint regarding this service, but the high filing fee made it impractical for such a minor issue. Instead, I’m sharing my experience to warn others. Late at night, with no public transport available, I rented an e-bike for what should have been a quick ride home. Upon unlocking, the bike showed a green light indicating a full battery. However, just a minute into my ride, the battery died completely. This is unrealistic if the bike had any charge, as a functional e-bike battery shouldn’t drain so quickly. Without parking stations nearby, I attempted to end the ride, but the app wouldn’t let me leave the bike outside their designated zones, even though it was unusable. This policy is absurd when the equipment malfunction is their fault, not mine. I had to pedal this heavy e-bike for 40 minutes to reach a designated spot, turning a 15-minute ride into exhausting labor due to their faulty bike. Upon finally reaching the parking area, the dead battery prevented the bike from locking or ending the ride properly. I tried several times through the app, but nothing worked. The malfunction was theirs, yet I faced penalties for it. I had to freeze my credit card to avoid charges for this dreadful experience. The next morning, I found I was charged for an additional 10 minutes for leaving the bike "unattended." This charge is completely unfair since I parked where the app indicated and tried multiple times to conclude the ride. The fault lay entirely with their malfunctioning equipment. I reached out to their support for resolution, but there was no email or phone contact, only an AI chatbot. This seems to breach consumer protection laws requiring accessible customer support. I submitted a detailed complaint through the chatbot and waited over a month for a response. After following up repeatedly, all I received was a discount code, which feels insulting when the real issue is being wrongly charged for their equipment failure without any human support. I ultimately paid for the ride begrudgingly, but I want others to be aware of what to expect from this service. It’s best to avoid it, especially at night when you may find yourself stranded with faulty equipment and no real support.
It’s a nice concept, and my son and I were excited to try the bikes during our visit, but they were disappointing. The first bike barely had any charge, but we managed to swap it for another one at a parking place. After just 2 minutes, this bike also indicated low battery, and the front brake broke. We spent about 5 minutes trying to make it safe to ride while in a remote area with the brake dangling off. It was very dangerous to continue as we slowly made our way to the next parking spot. We found another bike there, only to discover that the seat was broken and swiveling uncontrollably. We wasted time trying to fix it while still being charged. When we finally returned to the starting point, my phone died, preventing me from ending the ride. It was incredibly stressful and disappointing; I doubt we will use this service again.
Unreasonable pricing. Vehicles are frequently broken and unsafe. Distribution is poorly managed, with many scooters in the center and hardly any in local areas, often with low battery. The service is not satisfactory. It seems like there are questionable practices involved in their contracts, as previous services were far superior.
Not only was the riding experience terrible, but there is also a lack of accountability for parked vehicles. I reported a scooter in front of my house yesterday, and it's still there, causing annoyance. Other companies would have removed it within a couple of hours.
This was the worst scooter ride of my life. Moving at 3 km/h uphill and being restricted to 5 km/h in town is ridiculous! I can walk faster. I had to navigate around town on a dangerous road because they don’t want cyclists going at a proper speed during off-peak hours. Research this service before using it, and consider removing the silly speed restrictions.
I finally tried the e-bike, and it was a disaster! The app was unreliable, with few bikes available when needed and most having low batteries. The service becomes expensive for rides longer than 15-20 minutes. It’s cheaper to take a taxi or use public transport, and even buying your own e-bike would be more cost-effective for regular trips. If you’re only making short trips, it might be worth it, but I would rather walk. Overall, this service is pointless and way too costly for what it offers.
