Stable...meaning - safe , secure, a building for keeping horses safe , not likely to give way . I was interested in the stable door, not just because it's unique , two doors in one and an adaptation from a door designed to keep a horse safe to one that can enhance a kitchen space . Adding ventilation when opened half way, giving an outside view in full. When I first experienced a Rockdoor stable door , twenty odd years ago, I thought it was a design masterstroke, well designed , engineered, put together with top end spec machinery and looking so good in a back door, for those who know ... the dalmatian massively enhanced the imagery . Roll forward twenty or so years and I find myself the proud owner of one of these Rockdoor Stable doors ... I love it ! It fits so well , is super smooth opening closing and the split opener is so cool and smooth to work . I know its super secure , hard and pretty , nice colour outside , agate grey , white inside and It's one of the best designed doors on the market . Here's to keeping stable !
The door was great when fitted. But now leaks. Spotted the weather bar seals have got damaged over time. Contacted Rockdoor to buy a replacement. But the won't deal with the public. The company that fitted the door no longer exist and the fitter has since retired. Got completely fobbed off by rep. So much for 10 year back up and support. I need another door soon and will chose a more pleasant company to deal with.
Really positive, great quality product, really solid and stylish. Fits in nicely with our 1930's house. Lots of nice little touches and really impressed with the service level. The online door design tool is nice and helps visualise. Came surprisingly quick too!I recommend highly.
I just had a Rock Door fitted a couple of days ago and it's looks really nice both inside and out. We found that Rock Door had the a good choice of doors compared with other door suppliers. We were able to design our own door to match our house. The door feels solid and makes us feel more secure compared to our old door. Everything on the door feels good quality would definitely recommend. Hopefully stands the test of time. Date of experience: 02 September 2023
When we experienced a problem with our new rock door we didn't know where to turn as the company who fitted it ceased trading immediately after fitting it. We needn't have worried. Barry Main from rock doors was outstanding. He contacted us and advised a replacement door would be fitted. Barry was an absolute legend. He was so kind and lovely to deal with. Our new door was fitted in a short period of time and we are delighted with it. Thanks so much to Barry and the superb fitter Alan who did an amazing job.
