Had a new composite door from Rockdoor fitted and have to say I'm delighted with the fitting and the quality of the door! the door fits like a glove, secure fixings and opens and shuts so easy, such a quality finish and solid fixings and security bolts. really quality door and so pleased I chose Rockdoor after checking so many other manufacturers , feels like a luxury door, highly recommended!
Door installed by Tony Holt Rock Door Northwest today. Asked to come a day earlier than planned due to adverse weather forecast. really pleased to have the door fitted on a dry bright afternoon instead of a forecast wet and windy day.Loved the care and expertise Tony displayed and the quality of the workmanship including really neat finishing.
I had two Rockdoors installed in to my property around 12 months ago - one front door and one side door. I will say at the outset that these were not the cheapest doors I could have purchased - but I do believe in paying for quality. I would like to think that these doors will last a good 15/20 years, or even longer. I have to say that both my wife and I have been delighted with the quality of the door, and how great they look. The ironmongery (handles and letterbox) are particularly very aesthetically appealing. We have noticed a difference in our hallway as our previous doors were steel within a wooden frame - thereby when it was cold, the door shrunk allowing cold air through the gaps! When it was warm the door expanded and would catch the frame! No such problems with Rockdoor.I would like to thank the service team at Rockdoor, particularly a colleague called Razina. When we had both doors installed, the after sales support from our installer wasn't great - to the point that it has taken almost 12 months to finally reach a point where both doors are fully operational and fitted to a standard that is what I would have expected from the outset. Albeit the warranty sits with the installer and not Rockdoor, without the help of the Rockdoor service support team, I'm not quite sure if I would have ever resolved some of the issues I have been facing in to. So... Thank You.Overall, I can see that there are some mixed reviews about Rockdoor. From my own perspective, yes, I would recommend them. I think the build quality is excellent and aesthetically, they do look superb. When you open and close the door, you can almost feel the quality in the build. Great selection of doors to choose from, along with a myriad of colours and accessories.
Simon fitted our new rockdoor at the front of our house, our old door leaked in when it rained, and the drafts were terrible, but since having our new rockdoor fitted, we felt a very big difference on that very first night, so it's safe to say that we are absolutely delighted with our new front door. Thanks Simon from Stathams 👍 you did a fantastic job, and even did all the cleaning up afterwards.
We have had 8 rockdoors installed on one of our developments. It was soon identified after installation that 2 of them required replacing, as time has gone on we require a further 2 replacing. They were all fitted by an approved installer whom has had 2 of the replacements in their posession for 6 months now but is now not answering calls or emails regarding the fitting dates. Rockdoor simply push the issue back towards the subcontractor so we are currently left with 4 defective front doors with the common issues listed below such as bowing and bubbling.
