I like it very much. The agate colour goes great with our cottage looking door. You must also get the black cat iron furniture. The door also looked great from the inside being white and it makes you feel you are going to step through a portal into the great outdoors. The fit is perfect. The feel feels secure and I hope we are the envy of our road. A big thanks to DW Windows and the guys that fitted it. No fuss no mess and another happy customer that recommends both the Rock Door and DW Windows. ******
Classic windows in Dronfield fitted 3 Rockdoors on my property a few days ago. I have to commend both the installation team and the product itself. Nothing was too much trouble for the installation team and the doors look fantastic. They have improved the whole appearance of my house and I can already feel that they keep out the draughts and keep the warmth in. We had a new front door installed today. The process of ordering the door was easy and straightforward and all our contacts with the company were professionally and courteously handled.The installers arrived bang on time and our new door was in place in a much shorter time than I was expecting. A well built solid, handsome, glazed door stood in place of the old door which had survived 30 odd years of severe Scottish winters and served the family well.Light streamed through the new glazed side panels and top fanlight.The installers cleaned up and left us very satisfied at the installation of our solid new Rock Door.
As part of our renovations we chose Rock Door on recommendation from our builder. The new door and frame has transformed the entrance to the property, and is much admired. Apart from the appearance we really feel safe and secure, the locking system is so easy to use, the recent very high winds and torrential rain have not been any concern at all.
Please wait everyone, I’m on my 5th Rock Door, absolute rubbish. They have give up on us now and won’t call us anymore. I have all the pictures, bubbles, warping and glass seal lifting. I’m glad and left the door behind. I’ve left the new owners with the guarantee. Good luck
I don't leave a bad review but in this case i think this product deserves it. My Rockdoor is now over10 years old it was purchased on 03/12/2010 that one lasted 3years and was replaced 2/7/2013 then another 27/07/20, and taken on the expense of having them fitted myself until the last one, the fitter was sent by Rockdoor and was perfect but after 3 years it has a problem again. The left hand panel has swollen it doesn’t affect the performance of the door and the door is draught free. I can afford to buy another door but will be looking for a cheaper door and taking a chance. It’s was by chance i was put in touch with a very understanding person after the second door replacement before that i was not so happy with customer support . It doesn’t stand up to claims it makes.
Ive been fitting doors for 30yrs. I have stopped using Rockdoors for about 3yrs now due to the constant warping and bulging of the door slab. Luckily i fitted doors from 3 suppliers, Rockdoor was my least ordered doors because they were expensive. Fitted about one every six weeks. I can honestly say ive been back to nearly all the doors fitted to fix issues and replace door slabs. Their door furniture suppose to be marine resistance or something, but they were pitting within months. I would stay clear from these doors. The cheaper priced doors i have fitted have long stood the test of time. Your money, do your homework...
