Incorrect tax by Ruby Lane

In the process of checking out, I noticed a sales tax was added. Since the antique was being shipped to the US from the UK, I knew it was incorrect. The seller told me Ruby Lane automatically adds the tax and she could do nothing about it. I did not purchase the item.

For my purchase I felt the shipping was very high. Actual USPS shipping was $18.50 per label on my box. I was charged $39.33 plus $4.00 ins. Seller quoted FEdEx delivery but I received item by USPS. Order 5893193 & item 0015-7481.
