This company is selling 3-year-old phones in new boxes with 5G on them. I bought an A16 Samsung Gala

This company is selling 3-year-old phones in new boxes with 5G on them. I bought an A16 Samsung Galaxy phone from them because I wanted to get away from paying a cell phone bill every month. I bought 2 phones, one for me and one for my son. The first one took 2 days to complete the activation and transfer of my number to their company, with all the right information. The second one arrived on 2/27/26 for my son, and 2 agents told us that it was a 2 G phone and needed to be returned. How in the hell are they selling a 2 G phone in a 5 G box? I was so pissed off that I called HSN and told them to immediately refund me my money and have their vendor check other phones that they could be sending out to people from this Tracfone company, because they are selling defective phones as new. I believe I will contact the FCC and let them know what is going on, because they are part of the Verizon company, and that explains to me where the problems lie with bad customer service and no accountability whatsoever, dealing with third-world companies that provide customer service to the United States. And the agents are not reliable and barely speak English, which makes it frustrating to talk to them. When will the United States bring jobs back to our Country because I am tired of this.

Incompetent Foreign 'Customer Service'

Not enough folks there that comprehend English well ! That 'saves' Tracfone utterly NOTHING. Customers flee from that ! Tracfone doesn't give one damn either, about our problems with their company -- because it's now Verizon. Too big to care ! They have loads of other customers -- they don't need you or me...

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Phone calls always dropped like 3 seconds after I would pick up. Cell phone service abruptly ended and was canceled for no reason and I was supposed to renew my service in June 2026. I was on an income based plan and I guess it ended because of the shut down but there was no communication from them and I can only see that it was canceled. You get what you pay for.

Horrible Company

You’d think they'd know how to port a cell phone number, but they don't. I lost my job and I desperately need free cell phone service. I need to keep my cell phone number because it’s on my resume. I still have cell phone service with the other provider because my son still has service with them. So the account is still open and active. That means the account number is the same. I even provided proof of the account number from my other cell phone service and they rudely and ignorantly kept telling me it’s wrong. They are unbelievably rude!!!!!! I couldn’t even get a new cell phone number with them. They’re way too busy and obsessed with insisting that my account number from my current cell phone provider is wrong. They’re unbelievably rude and have the worst customer service ever!!!!

I've been with TracFone safe link who ever

I've been with safelink.. TracFone lifeline I'm not really sure who they are anymore but recently I've experienced some really untasteful customer service. I find it someone on that out of the blue all of a sudden on the second day of the month my data ran out now I've been with this company for a while now over a year probably over two years never have I ever gone over 10 gigs of data considerably I have internet at home and I hardly ever leave my house anyway calling a customer service agent was borderline hysterical because they don't even know how to do their job but when they called me back it came up Verizon still confused about that. That's why I said whoever cuz I don't think they even know who they are anymore. also they have a automated system because they're not open during all hours and if you accidentally purchase something that the automated lots telling you to purchase you cannot get it refunded if it's the wrong thing I had a customer service agent that couldn't even help me log in definitely after 3 years of moving on to another carrier buyer beware it's ridiculous take your money don't and just keep apologizing at the end of the day it's your chat that told me I needed that's what I needed to purchase I still feel like I should get my money back lesson learned

I was sent a replacement phone to…

I was sent a rwplacement phone to resolve an issue that made my phone not work where I live and it is unusable. The phone only lets me use one app at a time. It won't run most apps and constantly pops up a screen that says apps not working would I like to wait or kill it . How do you run a company where phones just don't work. Nokia 100. I have tried running the simplest apps and have gotten close. This phone doesn't even offer a way to close apps to clear memory without going into apps and doing so one by one and doesn't even list which are running so you don't know which is using your ram

Terrible response time

So I was approved for Lifeline and transferred from another Lifeline provider hoping for better service coverage. Well they approved my lifeline application almost immediately. So then my service with my current provider ended like two days later. But SafeLink hadn't even shipped out my SIM card yet at that point. It took them a few days to even ship it out, then it took a few more days to receive it. They shipped it the slowest possible method. So I was without service for almost 2 weeks while I was waiting for the SIM card to arrive. Also, I was unable to transfer my number that I had which was a big disappointment. I hadn't wanted a new number and previously they stated you can keep your number from previous provider. Customer service isn't that great and they were not able to help me.
