Appalling customer service. Order placed and no order confirmation received - contacted online chat the next day who couldn't provide evidence order had been received but also declined to process refund for the non-existent order. Paypal claim raised successfully.
Misleading Marketing and Not Truly Compatible With iPhoneI bought the SanDisk 2TB Creator Pro SSD after seeing it advertised as compatible with iPhone. It’s shown plugged directly into an iPhone in videos, implying it works with the native Files app or can record video straight to the drive.In reality, it only works through SanDisk’s clunky app, which is slow, buggy, and completely unsuitable for proper workflows. You can’t transfer photos directly, record video to it, or manage files natively. This is not plug and play and totally defeats the purpose of having USB-C on the iPhone.I wasted hours figuring this out. I replaced it with a Crucial X9 Pro SSD which worked instantly no app required. SanDisk’s marketing is misleading and this product should be rebranded. Avoid if you’re a creator or iPhone user expecting native functionality.
I purchased just yesterday my first 4TB creator Sandisk Pro portable SSD and now very disappointed. please everyone just do not buy that. The speed on the box is 2000 MB/s and my task manager in my computer shows max 90 MB/s. 20 times less than what is shown on the BOX!!!! Sandisk your price is too high and quality very low. Also check the capacity, available storage is exactly 3.5TB and not 4TB. This is a huge lie selling rubbish to people. You have to give my money back immediately.
This is a follow up to my post on 16th May.Since my last post they (i.e. their agents who are based in Greece) issued a voucher and told me to order a replacement sd card directly from their store. I did so on the 19th May and their system offered me a 1 – 3 day delivery via the courier, UPS who giving me a tracking number.The parcel arrived 3 days later however, it came with a different tracking number – and here’s what’s almost laughable: they sent me out a usb stick (worth £25) instead of the sd card worth over £100.No explanation, no cover note, nothing. I called them within minutes of receiving the package, fully expecting to be given more false promises. I was told “I don’t know why this was sent – it was probably a gift to make up for your trouble”. I replied “I don’t want a gift – I want my sd card”.I was told that they would sort the problem but a few hours later they demanded I take a photo of the USB stick and send it to them – they obviously thought I’m as dishonest and immoral as they are. However, I complied and sent them photo’s of the stick (still sealed as it’s of no use to me) and also the packaging which clearly shows the different tracking number. More e-mails were exchanged, more phone calls were made but the bottom line is this: they can’t explain why their depot in the UK hasn’t passed on the replacement to the courier. When I log onto the courier’s site, using the tracker number SandisK gave me, it says “UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet. Estimated delivery date will be available as soon as we get the package.” This is supposed to be a 1 – 3 day service.I’ve just called them again and they simply don’t have any more information. They can’t explain why their UK depot has not given the package to the courier. The agent told me his manager will call me – Ha!IT HAS BEEN TWO FULL MONTHS since I returned the sd card and I can’t begin to describe the contempt I feel for the agents who persistently mislead me. Based on my experience, I can only conclude that SandisK are either the most inept, inefficient company around or are, as I strongly suspect, deliberately misleading their customers with regards to their supposed two year warranty. It is not fit for purpose! DO NOT BUY IF YOU VALUE AFTER SALE SERVICE!
Basically ordered two 512gb usb duel drive usb and usb c and recieved a duel usb 258 gb apple one which i dont own anything apple. First off they Basically accused me of is that all that was in the packaging that arrived then they needed ten days to investigate they then asked did I want a refund or replacement I said replacement and they just refunded me instead. Then got another response when I contacted them again saying that they can't send replacements from the same person who early contacted me saying did I want replacement or a refund. Now there prices have went up they have give me a 20 percent voucher which still dos not bring the prices down to what I would of originally paid for. Definitely do not use bunch of fraudsters.
So I have been using SanDisk products for many years and they have been excellent, not s single problem until a couple of weeks ago. My 1.5tb MicroSD developed some kind of fault and was completely unresponsive no matter what I tried.So I went through the troubleshooting with a SanDisk representative and after exhausting that, we agreed that it was an RMA case and needed to be returned.I packaged the card with the appropriate paperwork and sent it tracked to the correct address. The packaged was confirmed delivered last Friday 9th May 2025. complete with a photo showing the package being received.I left it until Monday and then thought I had better inquire about it as it was still showing as not received.A SanDisk employee went through the tracking with me, I showed the proof-of-posting receipt, showing it had posted it and then proof-of-delivery, showing a photo their employee had received it. I gave an exact weight of the package and also an exact time of when they received it.Despite all this precise information, they are now refusing to escalate this inquiry until I can find out the exact name of the employee that received the package!I have no idea how to obtain this information, this is their last message to me:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Thank you for your reply and apologies for the inconvenience caused.Sadly, we cannot find the name of the person that received the package.I would like very much to help you, but without the name of the person that received the package, the escalation will be rejected.If possible, please try to contact Royal Mail and ask for the proof of delivery with the weight AND name of the person that received.All couriers/postal services provide this information when asked.If you cannot provide this information, you will have to wait until the package is received by the system.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------I am trying to contact Royal Mail to get this essential information, but I doubt I will be able to get it.Totally pathetic customer service. They have lost my custom for the rest of my days, I will never recommend their products again.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THEMyou can buy their product on amzon if you really cant go without for a reason or another but do not buy directly from them because their price are not the cheapest but more importantly I TRIED TO CANCEL AN ORDER 5 MINS after i made one and its been a hell of scam since them, they pretended they will contact back, they also pretended a return was already started in their system but they cant see who made it (it s impossible since i call them first, so who would have started it) but whats more they started an accoutn for me supposedly to follow the progess. The next day that account doest exist anymore and access to it is revoked, like i tried to connect to it the next day to see whats going on. What's more is the money was taken from my bank account so the cancellation never happened and she didnt send me an email as promised to assure me it was cancelled. They are a dishonest company
