These gloves are very luxurious and look much more expensive than they are. The leather is rich and sumptuous and the interior is soft and warm. I have small hands so finding the right fit has been difficult. A traditional women's size S was too big for me and the fingers too long. A size 6 of these loves provided a perfect fit, and I get compliments on them all the time. They are warm and cozy and easy to put on with the arthritis that I have in my hands. I highly recommend them and will be buying more in other colors soon. These are by far the best gloves I've ever worn.
Read before you buy and beware:
Fell in love with this design and branding. Little was I prepared for the heartbreak and what is to follow. Website madeamixup on sizing (showed differently, perhaps in different geographic locations,I suppose, CH vs EU, go figure), which can happen. However, coordinating the return was rather annoying and practically impossible!
I have been emailing back and forth for over a month (no phone, no chat/WhatsApp rep) with a person named Leslie, who would respond once a week at best, on Friday afternoon mostly.
At first, I was basically explained how the sizing mistake was my fault, suggesting that I was trying to trick their system by logging in from different countries to where they don't ship. Rude, but okay.
Then, I explained I am merely trying to figure out whether I should/can exchange or buy a better fit pair. For two weeks, they didn't provide any useful info on the sizing issue, until I eventually resorted to return the gloves.
I shipped them back,gave Leslie the tracking info (she wrote earlier to do so and she will be on top of this... As if!) and for two weeks the gloves were held unclaimed by NL customs. Took Leslie another 2 weeks to eventually inform me (with lip service regrets for my trouble and understanding of my frustration) that I am the one responsible for covering and handling customs in NL (where I will need to later jump through hoops to get the money back for proven return).
At this point I decided to not double down again on the returnd not pay customs, as it has been weeks already. I hope they end up handling it and refunding me after all, but I don't see it happening considering the level of service I got so far.
I’m sharing my experience to help other consumers understand what may happen if a problem occurs.
I placed an order in January 2026 (order #SH-NL71433-25). One pair of gloves arrived with visible defects, which the company acknowledged in writing. I reported the issue immediately and followed their own return policy instructions.
After my defect report and cancellation request for another item, I received no response for about two weeks. The second item was shipped anyway despite my cancellation email. During this period there was complete silence from customer service.
Because of the lack of communication, I had to send a formal legal notice (ingebrekestelling + WIK 14-day letter) by registered post. Only after this step did the process start moving.
The refund was first processed incorrectly (€163 instead of €166.95), and I had to request the remaining €3.95 separately before the full amount was returned. The company later explained that my emails were archived due to a technical error and apologized.
In the end I received a full refund, but the process required significant effort and legal escalation from my side.
This was far more time-consuming than it should have been for a defect that the company acknowledged in writing. Future buyers should be aware of this and act accordingly.
