Scottevest has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They refuse to honor the return policy listed on their website and tried to charge me additional money (30% of the original cost!) for a standard exchange. Their customer service agent was rude and aggressively pushed the additional fee, not listed anywhere on their website or in their return policy. Beware!
My main problems with the coat are the material, fit and cost. The material on the black jacket attracts all kinds of fuzz and lint, so it always looks dirty or unkempt with bits of lint or hair. The material is also much thinner than I expected. The fit is very boxy and large. The pockets don't seem to add much functionality. What I mean by this is the two main coat pockets have extra compartments inside them that I don't have much use for. All the other pockets require you to unzip and get inside the coat. Based on all of this, I would not recommend the jacket at all, especially for the cost.--After writing this review, I was able to exchange my coat for one that meets my needs much better! Thank you for the help and willingness to make sure your customers are happy.
The product is great but the delivery. Via USPS is very disappointing . My package has been sitting in the Indianapolis post office for 55 hours before starting on its final 30 miles of the trip.Thr tracking is great but the customer service commitment of USPS does not match Scottivest expectation.
I ordered three(3) ScotteVest items which didn't arrive. So, I contacted the ScotteVest Customer Service Dept. for assistance.The ScotteVest Svc. Rep. asked me some questions to try and pinpoint what happened. He then contacted the Parcel Carrier Company who investigated, found the packages, & put them in my locker box (along w/my missing Amazon.com products).This is "above-and-beyond-the-call-of-duty" customer service & as long as ScotteVest remains in business, providing this type of 5-star quality service, I'll continue buying their clothing. In fact, I'm supplementing my current wardrobe, with as many ScotteVest articles of clothing that I can get! It's a joy and pleasure dealing with the ScotteVest company & team. GO SCOTTEVEST!
I received a SCOTTeVEST as a gift but it didn’t fit and it sat for a period in its original packaging. When I found it I figured I was not going to get an exchange. I sent an email to see if I could return it and was told I could, so I sent it out with my size and and in five days I had the new vest. GREAT SERVICE! THANKS!
