I signed up for a 3-day free trial to see what ScreenApp offered. I quickly realized it wasn’t what I needed and did not use the platform at all.Even so, the trial automatically converted into an annual subscription and I was charged for a full year. I did not intentionally choose an annual plan, and the sign-up experience was not clear enough for such a large charge.Support confirmed the charge but refused to refund it, hiding behind their cancellation policy. They suggested a manual billing review form that may take up to 14 days, which feels like an attempt to delay and discourage customers.This is a very unpleasant experience and feels like a classic “trial-to-annual” trap. I strongly recommend being extremely careful before entering your card details.
When you put a video link to download it, it shows you that in the background. But you have to log in via a gmail account to do it. Once you give it all your data, then you try to download the video, and it asks for credit card details. Fkin uckers can such my toe.
Would leave zero reviews if i could. company is a complete scam - i had a free trial for a couple of hours, canceled subscription yet they kept trying to card. zero support, noone is responding and emails are bouncing. will be disputing with amex.
The app is useless, $168 is way too expensive for a recording of idk almost nothing recorded and that haven't talk about the transcription and summary. It's totally out of context and it causes me to lose a big client for failing to review the meeting recording session and write a new proposal that highlighted all my clients' requirements. When I contacted their live chat support for refund only AI is there to help me and no email response ever received. But the system promises "⏰ Response Time: Within 24 hours (usually much faster for critical priority)". ScreenApp what a way to fraud people? I subscribed last year and used the service twice. I cancelled a month later because I no longer needed it. A full year later, out of nowhere, my card was charged again for a full year subscription.I immediately contacted customer service, only to be told that it “cannot be cancelled.” After showing them proof that I had unsubscribed a year ago, they finally admitted it was a billing software malfunction and agreed to issue a refund.But here’s the kicker, I’m in Canada, so when the refund came through, it was short by about $20 due to foreign exchange differences. Their mistake cost me money, and they refused to make it right.I didn’t start this problem, they did. Yet I ended up paying for their incompetence. My biggest mistake was ever trusting this company in the first place. Absolutely unacceptable.
Absolute scam. I subscribed for a $20 monthly subscription and my credit card was immediately charged $629AUD!!! I immediately cancelled the subscription and email them. Awaiting a response but not hopeful they will do the right thing.
