We were with Sector Alarm for 3 years and everything was great until we actually had a burglary. The burglary happened within 48hours of us leaving on vacation and the only people we told we would be away were Sector Alarm, the car was even still in front of the garage, which raises its own questions. The burglars were in the house for a significant time but our motion detectors did not activate, we had 3. Sector Alarm subsequently confirmed that their equipment was working properly, so it seems it is very easy for thieves to circumvent it,, so fit for purpose?? There is also a clause in their contract that exonerates them should you be robbed,,, so what is the point. Their equipment easily circumvented and no responsibility.
This is probably the only alarm company that has personalized service. Oscar goes above and beyond to ensure that you have the correct installation and the entire company focuses on customer care and really important post care. You are not left alone and there is nothing more important than having an alarm system with staff behind it who care and who make you feel safe. If every company would have such a great work ethos this would be a perfect world !!!
The alarm itself is faultless and easy to use and understand. What stands out the most is the telephone support which is fantastic and the installation deserves 5 stars. Ivan our installation specialist explained everything in full and showed me how to navigate the easy to use app in English.
