Review Time
I had a problem with a dedicated server, where I couldn't access it, after installing swizzin. I asked for help in a ticket, because it says on their page that they will help, if you need assistance. but they straighup denied me any help. So I went and cancelled the server and requested my money back, but noooo. So I went and disputed it with paypal, and they somehow made them deny the claim. Do not buy any dedicated servers from them. Buy from somewhere where you aren't out of luck, when nothing works.
Ordered but was not satisfied with their service as the shared servers seem to lack some security. Requested refund the same day - according to their 7 day refund policy I assumed there shouldn't be any problem. They never answered by ticket/mail, had to contact Paypal.
The prices will draw you in, it will work well for a while and then one day out of the blue you will get a message saying "The hdd with your server saved on it has crashed and there is no chance of recovering the information, sorry!"I used the server to save family pictures and important info because i figured they would have some sort of a backup plan in case this happens - THEY DONT.Pay a bit more and go to a host that has a better infrastructure, they also don't answer any customer support emails.Terrible service, i should have stayed away.This is my first ever review on trustpilot, i usually don't bother but I made the extra effort just because of the terrible service.
Making this review in English to hopefully reach "a wider audience".I've only used this provider ~5 times over many years, and if I ever want a seedbox again, this'll be the provider I'll pick out of the bunch because:- They're still here (First subscription was in 2014).- VERY CHEAP options.- Amazing speeds.- Decent traffic on low tier options.At home I 'only' have a 50/50mbit connection, which isn't enough to compete against boxes. Even with a 1/1gbit connection, you're simply not able to beat the performance of a 10gbit connection.Being the lazy person I am, I signed up on the 8th (this month) and didn't use up all my traffic before the 25th.However it was done quickly, and without much hassle at all.This is my go-to guide for getting ratio/traffic.Find some pr0n.Download it.Seed it.Rinse & Repeat.I was ~2 hours late on a large torrent ~250gb, and it sucked up the rest of my traffic by seeding back 880gb "in moments" - That's nearly 1/3 of the allotted traffic for the box I ordered.Bad things:- System doesn't remember passwords (I always have to reset it in order to get to my client area, which is pretty freakin' annoying - However the password for the box never fails = weird).- Box is down a lot (atm it's only been up for 2hours - Haven't used it since I added the last torrent).- Probably oversells a bit, which might be the cause of downtimes on rutorrent.All that being said, I'm a very happy customer.The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is:- System doesn't remember my god damn password.- Very outdated/bad website (i.e if you downvote an article on their 'how-to' page it'll redirect you to a 404 site - Bad spelling, non-closed tags visible on certain sites).- No info about CPU/RAM on seedboxes.
Have tried a number of other seedbox companies, but have always kept using Seedhost.eu for more than 7 years now.Speeds are great, service is stable and reliable, excellent value for money, and importantly Seedhost.eu have never lost any of my data.
Have had a number of shared services with this company which have generally been okay in terms of performance.Unfortunately the support is very poor, the odd occasion I have needed to contact them my support tickets are closed without any action being taken and with a generic copy / paste response.Just about to cancel the active service I have as the performance is pathetic. Completely unacceptable, even on a shared service. Seems the hardware on my service is heavily over utilised or inadequate specification or both.
First month service was faultless, days after renewing for second month had numerous issues which although support very fast to respond had absolutely no effect so cancelled service. Receiving 1 star as refused to refund months fee even though only a couple of days in, and have ignored emails since.
Seedhost really gives you a lot of "bang for the buck" in terms of speed, stability, and last but not least - outstanding support.They take you very seriously and give you the best support you can imagine. Very professional staff going the extra mile to make sure they help you the best way possible.I have tried other hosting providers but I don't have to any longer, now that I have found Seedhost.Keep up the good work!
