Review Time
Had an evening airport transfer booked in Phuket. Plane arrived on time but there was no Shuttle Direct drivers waiting for us. Even the other local companies had not heard of Shuttle Direct. We tried ringing all the numbers on the paperwork but no one answered and no-one has ever contacted us. We eventually got a local driver to take us. The local guy was less than half the price. My advice, don’t book thru Shuttle Direct, just arrive and grab a local van. The one we used was $65 AUD vs $139AUD for Shuttle Direct.Same experience with the transfer from our hotel to the airport. Booked for 7:25 pickup. At 7:30 the Hotel tried calling the numbers on our paperwork but no one answered. At 7:40 we gave up and grabbed a van off the street. He was 1/4 of the price of the Shuttle Direct booking ($40 AUD vs $175AUD). Don’t use this company, just grab a van off the street, they are everywhere.
Lurie was amazing!! From greeting us at baggage claim, securing our water taxi to our hotel. Checking on us later to make sure we arrived at hotel. Then upon our return he met us at water taxi station at 3:45 am with open arms and a smile. Lurie made our trip experience so much more enjoyable. We didn't have to worry because we knew he was going to take care of us.
A great transfer to Nerja in an ‘economy van’ transfer for a family of 5. Great value for a return trip , excellent and helpful driver. Waiting for us in arrivals and arrived early for our pick up. Choice of child seats. Have used this company many times and wouldn’t choose anyone else.
