Brilliant company

Brilliant company , My husband and I have have availed of transfers from shuttle direct for several years now , their drivers are courteous and kind and have always been totally reliable and on time we would not use any other shuttle service .

No taxi waiting on arrival

No taxi waiting on arrival. Went to desk 1 as directed. No one at this desk. Guy at desk 2 took us to another desk. Then sent to Bus. Then sent to office as private transfer. Told to wait outside. Waiting in cold for over 1 hourBus passengers LEFT BEFORE OUR PRIVATE TRANSFER ARRIVED. Sent email but no response. Extremely disappointed & expect to be reimbursed for this terrible service

Fine in the end, but not without stress.

Upon arrival at Tenerife South I was unsure where to go for my shuttle and my flight had been delayed by 2 hours. I asked at an information desk and was notified of the rendezvous point, then it was quite easy to find the shuttle and got you our accommodation no problem, albeit after several stops at nearby hotels within Playa de las Americas which were within easy walking distance of ours. It was a hassle-free process which was helpful.However, on the return journey things were more stressful. I rang the day before to arrange collection time and place and arrived at the Alexander Gala at least 10 mins before the pickup time. 5 mins after the arranged time, the shuttle had not arrived, so I called the number on the voucher to ask for an ETA. I was asked why I had not phoned the emergency number. My answer was simply that it was only 5 mins late and I did not yet consider it an emergency. I was told it would be another 15 mins as there was heavy traffic. After that time, still no sign of the shuttle so I rang again (this time the emergency number, as my flight time was approaching) and was told there were still lots of hold-ups and they would get to me as quickly as possible. I waited longer and then aas about to book a taxi as I was worried I might not make my flight. I called the emergency line one more time and they said the bus would arrive any minute and would certainly be with me before a taxi, so I held off and the shuttle did eventually arrive, over 30 mins late, by which time I was feeling quite anxious. The driver put me at ease and said he would make up time to the airport and we were then dropped off some 20 mins later, still with plenty of time to get through security and catch our flight home. So all worked out well in the end, despite some stress.

A taxi only arrived after we made numerous phone calls.

I would not recommend this company. We booked a taxi (order ref nr: #1773647692) the evening before for the following morning through the website and received a payment confirmation and email confirmation. However, in the morning no driver arrived and we never received any confirmation that the pickup had actually been arranged.We were in Turkey and had limited internet access, so contacting them was very difficult. After making many phone calls to the number provided in the booking, we were told that it is not even possible to book transport earlier than 24 hours before the trip through their system. Unfortunately, their website still allowed us to place the booking about 8–10 hours before the journey and accepted our payment.Eventually a taxi only came after numerous phone calls and a lot of stress. Overall, this was a very unprofessional and unreliable service. I would not trust this company again.

Collection was good …

Collection was good but delayed due to missing passengers. On the return journey I had to change the booking and shuttle direct was very accommodating

I had used this service in the past and nooked mytransfers with them agian in Lanzarote as I found it good value, great service, and their customer service line speak English.

Shuttle Direct do not deliver direct…

Shuttle Direct do not deliver direct transport from airport to hotel and vice versa. My trip on 3rd March from Tenerife South airport to my hotel in Playa de Las Américas took long than it should. I sat in one of the seats and leaned back, nearly falling into the passenger behind where the seat was so worn out. We spent the first part of the trip going around the same roundabout and past the same restaurant three times, in Los Cristianos , before we dropped anybody off. At the second stop, still in Los Cristianos, we had to change coaches and coach driver. Luckily we then went on to Playa de las Americas and I was off the coach after one more stop. Some people were still on the coach.The journey back was much smoother. The pick-up at the hotel was 15 minutes after the scheduled time, but no problem for me. Plus the pickups going to the airport were much better and faster.I do expect a shuttle service to have a few or many stops but I don’t expect to have to change coaches or go round in circles looking for a drop off or pick up place.
