Review Time
I placed my order on Nov 30, 2023. Checked with Customer Service (CS) on Dec 3 to better understand the dispatch date and the missing 10% off for my first order. No response so I called them. The girl said will refund the 10% and it will take 5-7 days. I emailed them again on Dec 7 on the shipment status. CS responded it will be dispatched the following week and that I will receive a notification when it leaves their warehouse.I emailed them again on Dec 12 as I still haven't received my notification nor the 10% refund. They replied saying their supplier has let them down and shipment won't be after the new year. They asked if I would be interested at other items. I said no as I only wanted my ordered item. I asked how much discount can they offer to compensate the delays and asked when will it likely to arrive at their warehouse.They were only able to offer another 10%. I asked them again when will it land? They said early Feb 2024!?! When they said delayed and it will be after the New Year I would expect it to be early Jan NOT Feb!VERY disappointed as I thought I ordered early so that it could arrive before Christmas :(I have today Dec 12, 2023 asked for a full refund. Let's see this time they can complete the refund within 5-7 working days. If not I will probably need to call them up.Horrible experience... 'tis was my first time ordering with them... will be the last too.
Disappointed with Silver Mushroom. Placed my order #244643. Emailed customer service asking why my order hasn’t been dispatched. I was told it would be arriving on Friday and be dispatched on Friday or Monday. This did not happen. I again emailed them to ask what the hold up was. I was told they were waiting for it to arrive from the supplier. Today I tried to contact customer service by phone but no one answered my calls. Next I emailed to tell them I wanted to cancel my order and wanted a refund. They emailed back with an apology and told me I would get a refund. My opinion the order should not have been accepted when it wasn’t in stock. Also the money should not have been taken from my until it was shipped. Not happy with customer service not answering my phone call. I won’t be using this company again.
I have ordered from Silver Mushroom several times now and the service has always been excellent! The delivery was quite quick and the products were very well packed, so no damages occurred and that's one of the reasons why I prefer Silver Mushroom over different retailers.
I ordered a Sabatier Knife Block and I do like my new knives. The price was great on Silver Mushroom. I would have given 5 stars but my delivery took a long time to arrive. I didn’t get any feedback from them and I had to ring up to enquire and then they emailed to say my order was on Back Order! A bit disappointing.
