Review Time
I think I left a review with a no-star rating—by mistake—it was a glowing review. I'm sorry to muck up the overall rating for Simply Eyeglasses—they've been very, very good to me over the years—but I hope these five stars help a little. Here's what I had to say:
I just received my ninth pair of glasses/sunglasses from Simply Eyeglasses, and I have to say I’m impressed. First of all, the price is very good: a hundred dollars less than my local one-hour shop, every time (for my frame + progressive polycarbonate lenses), but I really appreciate the customer service. For one pair of glasses I wanted a different frame color than they offered, and when I inquired, they searched and found the frame in that color, had it shipped in, and voila, I had the glasses I wanted. For this most recent frame, the color was a spotty tortoise shell, but I didn't like the spots—which was totally subjective—but once again, when I asked if Simply Eyeglasses could do anything, the answer was an emphatic yes. They ordered a new frame, emailed me photos of it for my approval, and bang, I got the glasses I wanted. Pretty darn nice! (I’m all about the frames, but the lenses are great, too. No problems!)
Ordered my Silhouette frameless glasses from them. Picked the because they had the best price. They also have a super easy website, with helpful tips on how to measure and order your glasses based on your ophthalmologist Rx. I got progressive lenses (my first), but could not get used to them. I let them know, they right away offered to replace my lenses at no charges. I sent them back, they gave me a $60 CREDIT because the lenses I requested where no longer progressive and therefore cheaper! Got the new glasses super fast. Impressive. And nice and quick email interactions.
Long story short, I didn't realize there were different sizes in "men" sunglasses. Well there is, and I got a pair of basically child sunglasses! So I reached out to Linda and she was amazing. We sent several minutes on the phone while she helped me find the perfect sunglasses in the perfect size. She stayed in great communication with me and when my new sunglasses came in I could not have been happier.
I purchased a fully customized pair of Raybans with transition lenses and I can't believe how amazing they are. The entire process was simple, easy to follow, and the customer support was superb. I would and have already highly recommended Simply Eyeglasses to my friends and family. Thank you so much!
I've used their service 3 times and everything has been just fine. They had the selection of frames we wanted and fitted the lens in a very reasonable amount of time. At request, they provided an itemized invoice that I could provide to my insurance company for a claim. My claims have never been rejected and the total price is lower than retail. I would recommend this site to anyone.
I'm exceptionally pleased with the product and the price that Simply Eyeglasses offered. I wanted to replace the non-prescription lenses in my Ray-Ban and Persol sunglasses with prescription lenses. I went to several different local brick and mortar retailers, including LensCrafters, and couldn't find anyone who would replace the lenses for less than $200 for each pair of glasses. I found Simply Eyeglasses after doing some research online – they were willing to replace the lenses for $60 for each pair of glasses (I decided to skip the polarization). That sounded too good to be true, but after I did some research on the company, I decided to give them a try. The quality of their work is top notch – there is nothing that they could have done better. They even returned the original lenses in case I ever want to wear these as non-prescription in the future. I would gladly recommend this company to anyone, and I will definitely go back to them the next time I need new lenses in any of my glasses.
