Review Time
I went to the Simply Pleasure shop in Bournemouth and was feeling pretty nervous about it. But after walking in and feeling really shy I was greeted with a great big hello and a smile from a lovely lady. We had a little chat about what I was after and she showed me so many things, explained everything clearly and really helped me feel comfortable. The shop was so bright and colourful, good music and really friendly staff. I will be coming in again soon and feel way more confident for next time.
I called their branch in Hull today at 14:09 to ask if they were interested in buying some products that I don't need. The lady interrupted me in a sharp, rude way, saying, "We don't buy from people" and then abruptly hung up. What a rude customer service experience!
NO REFUNDS or even EXCHANGES! This was not made clear to me when I bought an expensive item and changed my mind before even taking it out of the bag. I was told it was shop policy but Customer Services might help. CS said it was up to the shop. I just wanted an exchange. SP should sell you items in sealed plastic as they do on line, and allow untouched returns, as they do on line. It makes it look like they deliberately break the seal so they don't have to be bothered with exchanges.Also very dodgy receipt practice of allocating prices to non-bought items. Pity, inflexible company policy spoiled my review of a good shop.

It was my partner's and my first time walking into an adult shop, so we naturally felt a little awkward and uncomfortable, however as soon as we stepped in, we felt quite normal. The staff were extremely friendly which helped the positive experience. We were surprised to see lots of couples in there shopping away! Great shop, lots of items and selections to pick from, so you certainly can find what you're looking for. Would definitely recommend a visit here.
