The food was excellent both in its presentation and taste, we felt it was close to Michelin star standard! Our waiter, James S, explained each dish extremely well which made the dishes even more interesting. The other members of the team that we had contact with were all excellent and spoke knowledgably about both the food and wine flight. James S was particularly good in explaining the wines using is own words and also about the wines availability online.

Disappointing Experience

We visited a restaurant to try the Nut Cracker six-course tasting menu. It was not as luxurious as advertised and the heat inside was uncomfortable. The tables were cramped, and our waitress was unprofessional, complaining about her coworkers while we waited for our side dishes and drinks. We decided to try the cocktails, but they were overly sweet and unpalatable. The food presentation was lackluster, with all tarts served in one box instead of individually. They also ran out of dry ice for some courses. I felt unwell due to the heat and had to step outside. The price was exorbitant for what we received, and despite leaving a cash tip, a large service fee was added to our bill without prior notice. I wouldn't recommend this as it lacks value for money, and I won't return.

Underwhelming Nutcracker Experience

I attended the Nutcracker six-course event at a local restaurant, and the food was disappointing. I only enjoyed three out of the six courses. The first course was minuscule, and the dessert was overly sweet, leaving most of it untouched. We opted for the cocktail sharing option at £40 each, but the cocktails were excessively sweet and syrupy. It was a regrettable choice, and I would never return.

Frustrating Booking Experience

I attempted to take advantage of a Black Friday deal but couldn't navigate the website to book. I reached out to the company via social media, noting other customers had similar issues, and sent a direct message while the deal was still active. The company responded that the deal had expired. I requested they honor it due to the website issue and my timely contact, but although my message was seen, there was no response. The post advertising the deal has since been removed.

Extremely Disappointed

I have dined at a local restaurant many times with great satisfaction, but my recent visit was highly disappointing. One dish, a liver parfait, was served frozen. When I inquired, the waiter confirmed it was incorrect but offered no explanation or apology. Additionally, I found a bone in my duck ragu. When reported, the waiter returned to say the kitchen couldn't find it, insisting it was just a crispy piece of duck. This dismissive attitude was unacceptable, especially from a restaurant known for its quality. I'm now uncertain about returning after this experience.

I was asked twice via email about food allergies but had to remind the staff upon arrival that they were unaware of my allergy, making their emails redundant. The team leader was rude and abruptly informed us that we wouldn't have time for coffee, despite having 30 minutes left in our two-hour slot. Given the meal's cost, I expected a higher standard of service.

Disappointing Dining Experience

This was likely the worst dining experience I've had. The servers tried their best, but the food was the main issue. It was presented as a fine dining tasting experience, yet everything was bland or tasted awful. The menu seemed overambitious without any real skill displayed in the kitchen. The food was under-seasoned, and I left feeling unwell from the poor flavor combinations. It was not worth the price, the presentation, or the effort of the staff. I will not return and will advise others against it. The restrooms also had an unpleasant odor.
