Sold me a used Office 2024 key - refused to refund, wasted my time

I purchased an Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 license from Softload.The installation was correct. The key was a Volume License MAK key.Activation failed with error 0xC004C020 — meaning the key had exceeded its activation limit.Softload insisted I should "activate by phone" and remove "leftover Office 2021 remnants".Both claims are technically false and easily disproven:Office 2024 was freshly installedOld license files were cleared/dstatus confirmed the correct productslui 4 (phone activation) no longer works on modern WindowsMicrosoft does not override exhausted MAK keys for third partiesI provided full logs, screenshots, and command-line output proving all of this.Softload ignored the evidence, refused to issue a new key or refund, and kept repeating scripted replies.Be warned: if your key doesn't work, they'll shift the blame onto you — even with proof.
