I recently purchased a dining set and I couldn’t be happier with my experience. The set fits perfectly in our kitchen and looks even better in person. The quality is absolutely amazing – sturdy, well-made, and clearly built to last. Delivery as planed, and everything arrived in perfect condition.

I ordered and paid for the large coastal credenza on 15th December. Initial delivery date offered was 2nd Jan but I was away. We agreed to defer until w/c 12th January. 12th came and went as did 13th/ 14th / 15th then an email on the 16th to say the order was as being processed. When I asked why, when I had bought and paid for the item in December, I was told they hadn't been able to reserve it. I questioned whether they actually had the product available in stock they said yes. They then agreed delivery w/c 19th Jan. Yet again 19th / 20th / 21st / 22nd came and went with another Friday email on the 23rd to say there were no deivery drivers that week (and they tell me on Friday... ). First it was the couriers that were the issue. When I questioned that, it was then the retailer who had failed to log the new delivery date for w/c 12th Jan. Then an offer of £30 in compensation but to my PayPal account, which I don't have. I queried the PayPal payment but they said it was only way to pay compensation. When I pointed out any payments, refunds, full, partial or compensation are meant to be paid to the original card, they found that they could do it. At the point I said I would cancel, they "guaranteed" delivery w/c 26th and agreed to a full refund if the delivery failed again. It finally arrived on 28th Jan. Beautiful piece of furniture but the process has been an absolute nightmare. Twelve days of my valuable time just sat around waiting. No indication of when the couriers would be in touch (i.e. they will be in contact the day before to arrange a date so you don't have to wait in until you get that call. Simple enough). Be all the same for people having to take time off work, no consideration for peoples time. There are other things on their website I may have ordered but unlikely now. No contact from the retailer finally acknowledging delivery. Overall a very poor experience. Edit: E-mail from retailer today 16.22hrs to check if courier contacted me prior to delivery on 28th. For information, yes, they called the day before to confirm date and time.
So happy with my new marble table from Sooxos! Everything from purchase to being kept updated on status and delivery, to arrival was fantastic (and quick). The quality of the table is high end and its beautiful. Vicky from customer service was very super responsive and even added my discount code after the fact after i forgot to add it at check-out. I will certainly be returning to Sooxos for any furnishing needs.
