The bathing suit is very high quality and honestly my favorite bathing suit. It did take a long time to receive one of my purchases since they were over sold but the Soso team was quick to respond to questions and kept me updated.
Update! I have changed the rating to 4* because the company sent me a replacement bikini top which was in a different model for free. I love this style and it is way better for someone with a c cup (it’s the multi-tie top) and they did make an effort to make amends. I see they have also made big improvements to their size guide so I think they really listen to customer feedback.I ordered a bikini on 29th April on pre order and was told it would take 1-3 weeks, I received it on 23rd June - 8 weeks later.The bikini arrived with loose threads hanging out and terrible finishing on the bikini top. I purchased the wired bikini top, I am a C cup so not big but the flat board design is suitable only for A cup or smaller (I believe they have released a new design for this very reason). I requested an exchange, customer service agreed and said they would send a returns label. One week has passed and I still have no returns label.I initially wanted to exchange for a different size and style of top but now after this frustrating and stressful experience, I just want my money back and to not have to pay for my return. However the poor customer service makes me think this will not happen.To clarify, I did receive a 20% refund for the delay. It seems they have been completely overwhelmed by the number of orders and don’t have the capacity to manage the growth they are experiencing. The customer service responses felt like they were someone reeling off a text to their mate (very very informal), I was frustrated with my experience and I wanted to feel like I was in the hands of a professional who would get things sorted. This last point might be personal preference.Finally, they say size up on their sizes but why don’t they just make their bikinis the right size? I can see in other reviews here that everyone says they are too small.I tried so hard to keep going with my order but I have given up now and just want my money back.
I love SoSo Swim. I own now 4 swimsuits from them and for the price point I’d say that’s impressive because they are not cheap. I love their one pieces. So flattering and well made. I have most of their styles and I love the colors, so flattering. I will say that I just ordered the string bikini and according to the size chart I should’ve gotten a large on the top so I did but when I put it on I think an XL would’ve been better. If you have big boobs you NEED to size up with this brand and expect your booty to be out in most of their stuff (but in a cute way). I can make the Large work it’s just not the perfect fit. And I have a 36C/34D size chest. Hope this helps!
After a long winded communication with the team, they were finally able to resolve my issues and I was able to get my bikini (though it was not in time for my holiday!). I do appreciate their efforts and their bikini is actually great and I love it so much, but they definitely need to improve on communication / pre-order timings. I would order their bikini very far in advance so you know you'll definitely get it in time. In terms of quality and style I'm actually really happy with it!
I’ve had great customer service on all orders I’ve made with sososwim, everyone has been helpful and polite, and a discount was offered for a long delay due to the new stock launch. I think the sizing is fairly accurate - admittedly depending on the style you go for - but it is hard to know where you would fall on any swimwear size chart as women’s sizing varies so much from company to company, so personally I never expect to get it right first time. I would say I've found that bigger busts seem to have more issues, but that again comes down to the shape and style of some of the pieces, and there are other designs available which may fit better. I’ve had a swimsuit for over a year now and it’s still in great condition despite having a lot of usage, so I think the fabric and quality are brilliant. You pay a higher price for the quality and for the sustainability, so it’s definitely not the cheapest, but I’m happier knowing that the money is going towards paying fair wages and putting back into the environment. Overall I’m really happy with my purchases and will continue to support the brand.
I had a really disappointing experience. My pre-order never arrived, and when I asked to switch, the communication was incredibly slow and unhelpful. When the replacement finally came, it was the wrong size and the wrong colour. I asked for this to be corrected, but again the communication was poor—they seemed to forget they had agreed to the switch and told me to place a new order with a discount code.It’s been a frustrating waste of time and money. The bikinis themselves are actually great quality, but it’s no use if I don’t get the chance to wear them.I’m still in communication with the team, and if anything changes, I’ll update this review—but for now, this has been a really disappointing experience.
