Constant threats to canel your service if you don't pay and they add 5 euros to the invoice.
Tried several times to contact support to explain that my mom is unable to pay because her pesnion is not enough but they give you a call and if you don't pick it is too bad and you are left with no solution.
I do not advise this company to any one!
MEO is in a fierce competition with another provider for the title of worst service. The modems can be dangerously faulty, and the service pathways are incredibly confusing. The staff seem to lack basic knowledge about networks and bandwidth. One even claimed that their satellite internet, with a maximum of 40 Mbps down and 4 Mbps up, is a suitable alternative to the fiber service I had before. When I inquired about the impact of three family members streaming in high resolution on my work from home, all they could say was "it is possible." The service is frustrating, and the only way to get anything done is to express serious frustration. I strongly advise anyone considering MEO for internet to opt for an alternative provider instead. Yes, it's satellite, but it offers exceptional broadband speeds that actually match my previous fiber connection. Their customer service is also notably better.
Extremely disappointing support experience at this location. The staff appear to only manage basic billing inquiries. When it comes to resolving technical issues, they are unhelpful and lack knowledge. We have been waiting for our service installation since November 17, and since then, we have experienced no internet or cable service. When we inquired at the local office for temporary cable access, we were informed that it was “not permitted.” We had to escalate the matter to the main office, which eventually sent us a router so we could at least watch the news as the holiday season approaches. This whole experience, coupled with the staff's indifferent attitude, is entirely unacceptable.

In response to the service's reply: Unfortunately, I do not use social media, so communication through those platforms is not an option for me. I was promised 10mbps, which I foolishly believed. Now, I would settle for 3mbps without interruptions, and I would give positive feedback. Last night, we lost internet completely. The speeds are so poor they should be called 'Internet Slow.' I just tested it and got 1.77 mbps, which is the best I've seen. Sometimes it briefly reaches around 4mbps, but those speeds don’t last. I rarely exceed 2mbps in the evenings. Why do internet providers promise so much when they should be honest about their capabilities?
This company behaves unethically. I signed a contract for internet and two mobile phones for €60 per month. After changing my address, I re-signed the contract without altering the service, yet they raised the price by €9 and added unwanted services. They later removed some, but the price remains inflated at €65. The support team is poorly trained, and I cannot recommend this provider.
It's no surprise that this provider has so many one-star reviews. Their customer support is appalling. They only offer 24-month contracts, and when yours ends, they don’t inform you; they just add late fees. Want to renew? Commit to another 24 months. It feels like a lifetime contract with limited exit options. I’ve called multiple times, only to be on hold for hours without ever speaking to an agent. It’s a frustrating experience for customers trying to renegotiate.
The customer service is not only poor but also includes unacceptable behavior. I received a call regarding changing my package, and the representative spoke to me in a completely unprofessional manner, making comments about my nationality. This is disgraceful, especially after three years of using their service. I am terminating my service due to this disrespectful treatment. It's unacceptable for a company of this size to behave this way. Please hire respectful staff who stick to relevant topics.
