Rip off Britain in full effect I Only need replacement lenses and not the frame Specsavers want £40 to ' re-glaze' ( pop the new lenses in ) something a 2 year old could do - but no you are not allowed to swop them over - they want £40 for 30 seconds work !!!!On top of that one of the cheaper lens options is £220 Well this loyal customer of nearly 40 years is gone!Companies like Specsavers are the reason us mugs are in the middle of a cost of living crisis
Need two revues for this Test etc excellent could not be better Collection terrible Had appointment to collect glasses and check.Queue for reception area almost out of the door Gave up waiting Found a member of staff just asked for glasses received and went on my way without the checks etc When i raised the queue times the lady said Sometimes there is a queue PsFor a time no one was actually at the desk
The staff were excellent. But I walked into town to pick up my glasses (in the rain) as arranged, I also had an emal telling me not to forget, only to fined 1 pair of glasses ready. I now have to come back on Tuesday morning, hoping the other 2 pair will be ready.
