Very average!!!!

I have been with spintel since 22. Technical surport was better in the past, internet speed is shockingly slow. I am paying for 100/18 Mbps it is. Hotspotting off a phone is faster. Frequently service drops out and you need to power cycle the modem. I haven't tried any other service providers as yet.

BIGGEST SCAMS EVER.

If I could rate this a negative star rating I would. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY. WORST SERVICE AND CUTS OUT. when you complain to the about the cutting out of wifi they just say “restart it” and it does NOTHING. and then proceeds to blame our house hold when it’s everywhere else too. Now habe upped our bill and expects us to pay $250 for a modem that we’re still using (“you haven’t sent the modem back”). not a happy customer whatsoever. Customer service is terrible. Service is service. And they’re charging too much. “Date of experience”. Since we bloody got it! SCAM SCAM SCAM. THATS ALL I CAN SAY.

Poor internet speeds

Poor internet speeds, upload is the very worst , waiting a whole day to upload 1gb file. Then Speedtest speeds consitently show that they fall short of contracted rate ie deliver 50% of the speed. Talk to customer service online and they just go through their handbook of things to do and then suggest problems are at your end. Miraclulosly afte they put you on hold and talk with their service people full speed occurs, then next day same problem occurs. If i had to guess i would thing they have an automatic throttle in place that their service people can overide but its not a permant fix. I am not sure about that but it sure feels like it. Anyway 1 star because they dont deliver what they are selling and when advised they dont fix it either, Im only on a 6 mth trial so i will go back to my old provider in a few days. I have been with Spintel 3 months and do not recommend.

Would 100% rate -5 stars if I could

Would 100% rate -5 stars if I could. Continuously dropping from connection, without internet every second weekend. SPINTEL blames the NBN, yet my neighbours who are not with SPINTEL have 0 service disruptions. The worst provider I’ve ever been with. Customer service use pre loaded responses and delay your complaints by keeping you on hold. Never ever choose SPINTEL.

Avoid Spintel at all cost

Avoid Spintel at all costs! This company is an absolute scam. I canceled my account 12 months ago, yet they’ve been harassing me over a $250 modem—even after it took them six months just to give me the return address. Now, they claim they never received it and have slapped a $1,200 default on my account.I’ve filed three TIO complaints, and Spintel has ignored every single one. When I call, they hang up on me. They refuse to respond to emails, provide no help, and even had the nerve to call me a liar and make assumptions about my gender. Their behavior is beyond unprofessional—it's disgusting.If you want terrible service, fraudulent charges, and zero accountability, go with Spintel. Otherwise, stay far away.

When Spintel started I join them and…

When Spintel started I join them and was able to have a 2-letter email address xx@ after moving twice the 2nd time they informed me that they couldn't guarantee quality of service in FNQ, so I reluctantly changed provider.Now i am back with SpinTel and after leaving Telstra, the drama queens of ISP.ICost wise SpinTel are cheap as chips, and the service, not really used or needed, has been excellent.Happy to be back and I hope the service remains as good.

Terrible service

Been without internet since 21st January.Called Spintel daily to fix and still no update. Spent 1-2 hours per day calling to sort. No communication or updates provided. Terrible customer service. Also raised complaint as per their policy (2 day turnaround) and still no response. I recommend using another provider

Had to stipulate multiple times I…

Had to stipulate multiple times I wanted to make a complaint before it was acknowledged with a generic sorry message. A couple of weeks receieved a message stating the ticket was being closed due to not hearing from me. So they did nothing to look into it or respond to my complaint with an actual answer.
