Review Time
I've always had bad internet with these guys dropping out all the time. Finally took the plunge after several years of being with them and swapped providers. I cancelled my contract of on 4th of the month and they charged me for the full month even though I only used 4 days. Avoid avoid avoid!
Only giving one star because I can't give a lower rating. Absolutely worst experience with a service provider. Took over 24 hours of seeking help to get the connection issues sorted. Was midway through chat when I got completely ghosted by the consultant. Mid conversation just stopped replying. Finally got it all connected only to find out it was so slow you couldn't even load a webpage. Had to mobile hotspot so my kids to do their homework. Cancelled within 72hours and still being charged for a full month of "service". DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Based 500m from an optus 5G tower. Despite appropriate positioning only able to achieve 0.5-1mb/S upload speed. Download speed was highly varied but able to hit 250mbs. Unable to have basic videoconferencing. A terrible option for anyone who requires the bare minimum of upload speed. Please note, at no point does Spintel clearly document this as a known issue or a warning to prospective customers. Cost of the trial included $110 for a months service (returned within 7 days) and it cost $40 to return the modem by aus post.
I would give 0 stars if I could. $20 plan turns into $37 plan as their direct debit doesn't even come out the day it's due and when you realise you're overdue do they give you a $17 late fee on top! It's a scam! They took $250 out instead of $25 last time I paid the bill.do not get sucked it
Avoid like the plague! Useless is an understatement!I've never had such a hard time having NBN connected, this bunch of shoddy people have no idea what they're doing. They promised compensation for their mess around then went back on their word. Four days and we were done. No-one has the right to mess people around as much as they did us, then lie and expect to retain your business. Within the four days that we suffered this dodgy lot, we had nothing but dropout after dropout after dropout. Only changed providers initially to save money, didn't experience such disgraceful service, lies and connection.We changed to Tangerine, smoothest process ever!
Terrible customer service. They really don't care about you. They under-charged me accidentally and now they are making me back-pay several months for their mistake. Gee thanks for not doing your job correctly and then still making your customers pay for it. It's a shame really, because if they actually cared and looked after their customers better it would be great company and I would be happy to recommend. Unfortunately I can not recommend them.
Signed up to a internet service online , receive an old used second hand modem, service would not connect to the internet, tried calling, emailing reaching out on socials but no response, next minute I received a cancellation letter and a $590 bill!! I never activated the service or even used it! Stay away from this company. Current TIO complaint in progress.
