Even a star I will give! They charged me more than one year without using their service and no signed any contract, this is absolutely horror! I refuse to pay them 3 more months, I claim them to get refunded, their last email was ''instead of an outstanding debt, a credit has been created witch is transferred to you'' after I told them about the lawyer, the only think what I received till now, is a letter from Cannok, I can't believe this is happening in NL, this is totally SCAMMERS!!! be aware people!
Tricky tricky business approach. This may be the way things are done but should it be? Be very aware of what is in your contract. I signed up with this gym previously and they did not automatically bill me for another membership the next year. This time they did. I don’t even live in the neighborhood anymore and hadn’t been to the gym in at least nine months. 70 euros later I’m out of a shady contract that I shouldn’t have been in. Plus the hundreds of euros that I didn’t complain about paying for a membership I couldn’t use in the end. Terrible business practice and if this is how a business needs to survive perhaps it’s not a good business.
Great gym at a good price. I have been a member since the start of FitForFree days maybe 5 years or more. Unfortunately, prices have gone up with the take-over by Sport City so have been looking around for alternatives, but it's local and routine to go there.The staff could be a bit more social.Go there - train - go home .. routine helps!
Trust me they are real scammers. I joined them as a member in last year. I cancelled my subscription twice because I m moving to somewhere els And they say they can’t cancelled my subscription because of 1 year contract. There is no flexibility. They never mentioned this when I started joining. They said they have terms and Conditions on their website about it😂 Please don’t use this gym. I am using Onefit and Fit20. I can cancel my subscription or stop for a month when I go on the vacation. SportCity charged me 242 EUR in the end with the legal action even though I stopped using them since last year bcoz of moving. If you cannot use their gym straight to 1 year, please don’t pay for these thieves. Bad service and no flexibility.
Just a reminder to the next people, If you are decided to go to the gym in SportCity straight to a year, 60 EUR per month is worth otherwise you have to keep paying for the whole year even though you don’t go in the month or the next month or if you wanna cancel for the rest of the months, which is not possible because you made a contract with them. There is no flexible understanding on that. I have never heard of it at the other gyms which I m playing at the moment. Scammers!
