Charging extra money.

Charging extra money.I went to the gym, bought 1 month subscription, asked them if there are any extra charges, they assured that they will not charge anything extra.Now, 2 weeks after the month ended they send me an email asking to pay some termijnbedrag! For what?They said "no extra charges" and still asked me to pay extra!

Not worth the money

Nowhere in the app there's an option to stop your membership. I subscribed for 6 months but found out money is still being taken from my account.Gym equipment is ok, facilities horrible.Shower with one temperature of water, button to run water is outside of the shower. So called "infrared sauna" which was the reason I subscribed is weak and doesn't do much. After I can't even take cold shower. For almost 40€ per month I would expect much better facilities.

Barendrecht has issues

lovely people, my girlfriend and I were there for the last time about 2 days ago. please don't spend your time on those so-called unqualified "personal trainers" at Sportcity Barendrecht. They don't tell you, but you immediately notice from their behaviour that they suffer from high form of narcism disease. they gossiped about my girlfriend's weight. they themselves look like a lot of old grumpy people. so please bye Felicia. thank us later.

Illegitimate take money

They won’t stop your subscription even after the due period and asking for it to stop numerous times. Very bad costumer service, they don’t communicate and don’t pick up the phone.

Withdrawn payments couple of times per month

Every month, they withdraw payments couple of times from my bank account and now they say i have open payments, which is not possible. I checked my bank account for May, on 3rd, 17th and 31st, 49,99 Eur were withdrawn from my bank account so I refunded 2 of them back and still they say I have to pay 99eur. For what reason? I sent the screenshot of payments from my bank account. Not nice to make people stress, withdraw money couple of times per month for no reason. No response to my questions in the email and only sending email stating that I have to send money to your bank accounts. Looking forward to the end of my subscription

I am utterly appalled by my experience…

I am utterly appalled by my experience at this Gym. What should be a professional and safe environment for fitness and well-being is, in reality, a breeding ground for highly inappropriate behavior. Some fitness trainers use lessons as an opportunity to play seductive flirting games with young female members, aiming to establish relationships outside of the gym. This behavior is utterly disgraceful and unprofessional.What’s even more disturbing is that this behavior is tolerated among the staff. There is rampant abuse of power among trainers, who protect each other due to friendships within the club, creating a toxic environment where this behavior thrives. Other fitness instructors are fully aware of these actions and participate in these sickening games, taking turns to interact inappropriately with customers. They seem to test if members are willing to participate, like hooking a fish, but it’s all just a twisted game to them.Despite various rumors from numerous people, the club keeps this behavior a secret to protect its reputation and sufficient flow of lesson. The blatant disregard for professionalism and respect is shocking. This creates a profoundly uncomfortable and unsafe atmosphere, which is the last thing anyone should have to endure at a gym.

Stay away from this SportCity

Extremly dissapointed by the experience I had at this gym.Very focused to make money,instead of improving they’r issues,they are busy finding ways to take money.I struggled to contact them in order to close my contract,after several mails finally someone responded,ofc I had to pay extra month,for the famous one month notice,for the invisible contract I never signed for it.They aren’t even very understanding humans,when I wanted one time to cancel earlier,because I had to go out of country,had some problems,they hold on very tight and said NO,i got to pay,ended up paying months for not even being there,they did not undestood the situation at all,probably you need to be dead to have a real escuse and close it earlier.Equipment dirty many times,and employers really busy having any other activities but not caring about gym much.Support is really slow,and not really empathic.For the quality they offer they have high expectations,I will never come back and will never recommend this gym to anyone

Rude customer care | Scammed for money

Extremely rude customer care and scammed me for my money!I paid the Flex option and it says nowhere that you will be charged until you cancel. Even the method to cancel is extremely unclear on their app. And I got charged for two months, without actually going, and when I told customer care this, they responded by saying they are annoyed with my problem of cancellation. Extremely disrespectful to say the least. I would not recommend this if you expect them to be honest and trustworthy.

SCAMMERS

SCAMMERS. They are going to steal your money. Pay attention to what you sign up for! 6-months membership doesn’t equal to 4 weeks x 6. Even if you always pay, you’re gonna have to pay more at the end since the payment corresponds to 4 weeks and NOT 1 month.

1 Month membership doesn't exist

A similar experience to a lot of other reviewers, I was told my '1 month' membership was cancelled, even having written confirmation on a physical receipt. I was subsequently charged membership fees, which then went to their debt collection agency, leaving me no choice but to pay for months I did not use their service.A massive shame for the business to run so immorally given the actual gym and staff were great during my time there.
