In general it is nice, only thing to be improved is that a lot of people don't take out the weights, this makes a mess and it is hard to determine if the place is free or someone is using it. Gym workers don't look after it, and as a result it is also hard to find weights. In addition, free water to drink is a great thing to potentially add
I registered once to this gym so to on the month of july (only one month, as I am new in Amsterdam) and on august/september I am out f vacations.After filing out a form registration I did not receive any kind of answer or contact or news and a week later, when I called, I was answered there was nothing from me there. Obviously I thought something had gone wrong and the form was not validated, too much time had passed.I don’t speak or write dutch and really gave up this issue and tried another gym.For my surprise the Sport city gym took money from my bank account (which I ask to be immediately refunded) and as not enough, recently I received a letter for me to pay again 3 months.I have no registration number, I am not a member and I have never receive any news or put my feet in that gym - as you can easily check.For these reasons I come to ask you to immediately correct what is wrong, because it really sounds badly.Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.Lucinda M Lourenço
Avoid it like the plague/ Scammy contracts and extra charges way after my cancelation.Before registering to this Gym I read the reviews carefully and I saw a lot of people complaining about extra charges way after their cancelation. I thought they were exaggerating until I got charged myself almost a month after my cancelation.Funny thing is that I cancelled my subscription only for a month with the intention resubscribing due to not being able to attend, but now there is no way I'm going back. I prefer to spend 20' more walking for a gym that vires their members as persons and not as wallets.Reply: Having a one month (30 days) cancelation policy on a 4 weeks (28 days) program should be illegal. Imagine wanting to subscribe for a month and, according to your policies, being forced to pay an extra amount due to cancelation policies.
