After receiving a dress order that is 2 inches smaller then average sold shops, i was left feeling awful about my self but also my sister who is 2 sizes smaller them still could not fit into the dress!, ( so much for these dresses making you feel wonderful!)

after 5 emails to Stacees UK asking for a returns label, and a refund no matter how many time i replied - i want a returns label, i want a refund, i was offer a free dress ( why when they make me feel awful and you have to triple size up) and then £20 back.

You sold a product that is not labeled the correct size... you run them smaller.. you made 2 people feel like crap... i repeated my self 5 times, and STILL you are not listening, just returns are expensive to Asia ... it was dispatched from you Stacee's UK store.. i can return it there!!

so ridiculous ended up going to Six Stories instead for a beautiful bridesmaid dress, that is true to sizing!

Having visited a large prom store without purchasing a prom dress for my daughter because she's so particular on the style she wanted we scoured the internet and found one exactly like she wanted on Stacees website. Upon reading the mixed reviews I was really sceptical about ordering however after a lot of thought I'm so so pleased we took the plunge. The ordering through to delivery was seamless and we were kept in touch through every process. I provided the exact measurements of my daughter as requested even though we went for a size 4. Dress was delivered in 11 days and we are both blown away by the fit and quality. It is absolutely stunning! The material is outstanding quality & the workmanship is second to none! One very happy daughter & my bank account is happy too! Considering dresses we had viewed were £350+ Stacees are exceptional quality in comparison for a fraction of the cost. Would definitely recommend - if provide your measurements you will not go wrong.

I had a very disappointing experience with Stacees and strongly advise others to be cautious before ordering.

I purchased three dresses in total and needed to return two UK standard size dresses because they did not fit. I followed the company’s return procedure exactly and contacted them to request a return address so I could send the two dresses back for a full refund.

I complied with every request they made, including providing clear photos of both dresses with the tags still attached to prove the items were unused and not damaged.

Instead of providing a return address, the company repeatedly tried to discourage me from returning the dresses. Each response took around 24 hours, resulting in over a week of back-and-forth emails with no progress. In every reply, they repeated various excuses, including:
• Claiming return shipping would cost more than the dresses
• Saying the dresses would be of no use to them and could not be resold, even though they are standard UK sizes
• Stating that cross-border returns could incur customs charges payable by the customer and that it could take around a month for them to receive a return, even though it took only one week for the dresses to arrive to me.
• “Offering to remake two new dresses at the ‘lowest price’ of £30 per dress including shipping, instead of accepting the return

Rather than honouring a full refund, they offered partial refunds in stages: £30, £50, £60, and finally £75. After reading many reviews from other customers describing identical experiences, I felt pressured to accept the £75 simply to recover part of my money.

Despite stating in their email that they would issue a refund and adjust my Clearpay payment plan, I did not receive an actual refund. The £75 was only deducted from my Clearpay instalments, which is not the same as receiving my money back.

I am now left with two dresses that do not fit and no proper resolution, and I have had to try and sell them myself just to regain some of my money.

This experience felt like deliberate delay and pressure tactics designed to make customers give up on returning items. Based on my experience and the number of similar reviews, I do not recommend this company.

Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

DISHONEST RETURN POLICY!!!!! Nearly impossible to return items due to the fact there is nowhere to return it in the US. Had a take a partial refund because it would have cost a fortune to send it back. I haggled with them for over a week to even get the return address! Average response time per message was 12+ hours. Do yourself a favor and do not buy from them. Might as well by a dress from a swap meet, that’s what the process felt like

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!! My fiancée was treated poorly by this service - they denied her the ability to return her purchases, claiming it would be too costly for them, and suggested she try to sell the items instead, even though the dresses did not match the description provided during the sale. She sent the dresses back expecting a full refund, but none was given. Now she is £500 out of pocket without the dresses, which the company has since resold. The customer support was horrendous - only one response per day and completely unhelpful. An absolute disaster of a service.

I would give no stars. I ordered a standard size 12 bridesmaid dress, but it didn't fit across the back. I messaged immediately to inquire about returns and reordering, only to be asked for photos of the dress, including the size label. I thought I was ordering from a UK site due to the URL. Now, I'm being told returns will be very costly, and I'm offered £10 to sell the dress myself. Thankfully, I didn't attempt to order another size. I regret not checking reviews beforehand! I will persist in trying to return the dress and will share my experience through every available channel to prevent others from making the same mistake.

Thrilled with the dress

My daughter has her prom in 2026 and was searching for dresses. The prices were outrageous for something you'd wear only once. We discovered an online store and, despite some doubts from reviews, decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad we did! We ordered a beautiful size 4 black dress with a tie-up back, and it fits perfectly. The material is lovely, and my daughter couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Difficulties with returns

Despite multiple attempts to get return information for a refund, I keep receiving suggestions to sell it on second-hand markets! I requested to return it on the first day, but I’ve only gotten responses that don’t allow for a refund or provide return instructions.

Good service overall

The communication from the service was good. The dress quality and material were excellent, beautifully made. The only downside was that it arrived in a dust bag and plastic wrapping (which was left outside by my bin). Given the price I paid for the dress and shipping, a box or suit bag would have made it feel more special and earned a five-star rating.
