I bought the Americana 24ft Sectional Flagpole Kit for $1299.99. I installed it and the pole bent in less than 24 hours in 35 MPH winds.They have horrible customer service and will not talk to you on the phone.Steer clear of this company and their cheap products.
1. The solar light I received had a crack in it. The company would not respond to my emails. 2. The nut below the light (inside) to fasten the finial already rusting after a month (cheap hardware).3. The solar light does not emit enough light to respect the flag at night. 4. The company advertises the simplicity of lowering the telescopic poles, but they don’t mention you have to remove the cleat that the rope ties to. 5. I give this flagpole a rating of -10 and do NOT recommend buying this chincy, cheap flagpole.
Be careful what you order. I need a replacement sleeve for my 25 foot Roosevelt pole. The website shows an initial sleeve that’s for 20 or 25 foot poles which is what I ordered. When it arrived, I realize it was way too small and saw that they had a different sleeve. It was the correct size. Talked to their customer service who basically said it’s my mistake. they don’t offer any shipping and for me to wrap it up and ship it back at my expense, which would probably cost close to what the item cost. I ultimately had to purchase the other sleeve as well and now I’m keeping the wrong one as a paperweight. Buyer beware
We have purchased 3 Roosevelt flagpoles from STAND FLAGPOLES, one for us and two as gifts. Long story short, we would say one thing: BUYER BEWARE! The black color of the flagpole fades. The collars between each section do not fade so you have stripes and it looks terrible.When purchasing, we asked if the color would fade, “GARRETT” told us it was guaranteed that they color would not fade; if there would be any problems they were covered in the warranty. When trying to put in a warranty claim we were told to get metal polish and polish the flagpole. If dissatisfied at that we were told to get spray paint. WHAT? This was not cheap and the full warranty at time of purchase is not a “limited” warranty. The messages received from customer service are inconsistent and illogical. This is a manufacturing flaw!If you have any difficulties and post them to their social media, they immediately delete and block you without resolution. We have opened a case with BBB. This operation is a scam!BEWARE! ALL PHONE NUMBERS LISTED ARE NON-WORKING NUMBERS. THIS OPERATION HAS TURNED INTO A SCAM. PROTECT YOURSELF AND DON’T SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE!
The package was badly damaged when the flagpole was delivered. I was not home when it came in, When I opened the package there was some minor damage to the finish of the pole. I could have lived with that. When I started to assemble the pole and put it up, I found the hole alignment didn't match so the pole could not be put up. Their return used to allow for return shipping on defective pole, but they have policy and web site. They got my money, and I have a defective flagpole.
I purchased the Roosevelt flagpole from Stand Flagpoles last summer. Recently had to retract the flagpole sections to untangle the flag from the top finnial. Followed the company’s instructions and it went fine. Now, I begin to resurrect the flagpole; piece by piece as originally done. Three of the middle se toons had interior threaded sleeves that came out of the pole tubes. One was broken completely 360 degrees around. I could not put the sleeves back into the flagpole tube sections. It appears the sleeves were originally glued in-place. Sent an email to customer service about the problem asking how to fix this problem or if they would replace the 3 tube sections. No assertions from customer service phone calls. An email asked for more details, then for a video. I provided both. They claim this could not happen without mishandling, abuse or other to damage the flagpole. Nothing like that happened. More emails and more delay tactics from this company. In short, Stand Flagpoles is a fraudulent and dishonest company. The product design is faulty and the construction is poor. The customer service will not reply to your requests and then delay and put you off until you force them to deny attending to their product failure. DO NOT BUY FROM STAND FLAGPOLES EVER. AVOID STAND FLAGPOLES. THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. Read the numerous negative reviews on Stand Flagpoles that are in Yelp before you make a mistake you will regret.
Flagpole appeared to be sturdy up until it was fully telescoped. I purchased the 25ft telescoping flagpole and was very surprised at how much movement there was within the pole with just the thin lightweight cheap flag the flagpole came with at moderate winds. The pole I got is marketed as being able to withstand 60mph winds. Anything over 30 caused me concern and I actually collapsed it a few times to avoid issues. Almost 2 weeks ago we had an unexpected summer storm roll through that lasted about an hour with reported gusts over 25 mph. It managed to significantly bend the pole to the point where there’s now a permanent bend in the pole half way up the pole moving up. I attempted to fix the pole myself and see if it just needed tightening and that wasn’t the case. The bend didn’t go away after tightening and I also noticed significant fading on the finial color at this point (just shy of a year after install). In addition, the chrome section rings that are on each telescoping section are cheaply made and the adhesive has already loosened, making these rings move and revealing the adhesive under. Overall this product appears to have been false advertised and does not withstand the wind it’s suppose to and cheaply made. Furthermore when I reached out to customer service. Before even pulling up if I had a warranty or not, I received a bunch of excuses and attempts to say that the wind direction and installation angle could have contributed to the bend which is bs. Then they suggested I install additional lines of wire, additional rod inside the pole, and even heat treat the pole in order to harden sections! It literally sounded like customer service rep Laura was pulling info from a google ai prompt. She was unhelpful and unapologetic and it appeared to not be the first time complaints with the product were brought up. Please save yourself the trouble and avoid this site and their products. It a waste of money!
Don't be fooled by their deceptive ad they are not made in the USA, you can not call them only email them when your cheap Chinese flag pole shows up marked made in PRC which is the people's republic of China, and is damaged then they ask for you to do many things each time taking 2-3 days to respond asking for something else before having you send it back with a label that was meant for a package that is like 6"×8"×12" in hopes it never arrives so they never have to refund your money. I had to call my credit card company and have them go after them to get my money back. The are junk from the product to their so called customer service!!! Buyer beware.
So long story made short Company claims "We are so confident in the STRENGTH & DURABILITY of this flag pole that it comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!" Ecept it doesn't. Claims "100mph durability" bent in less than 70 mph winds. Standflagpoles.com claims are not only Flase they are total BS. Lifetime warranty is good for 1 replacement even if that's due to damage, missing parts, etc.. while in transit. Will NOT replace damage pole bent by winds for it's lifetime. Poor customer service took over 2 weeks to resolve damaged pole in transit caused by shipping company and refusal to replace bent pole from 65mph winds. Shady, shotty, and just POOR customer service. Buy your pole from a reputable company NOT HERE.
