I bought two packets of frozen cod from steak king. It was delivered in good time and placed in the freezer immediately on delivery.
When I defrosted the cod to eat the fish was rancid, it had gone off a long time ago.
When I contacted steak king they tried to suggest that I either hadnt put it in the freezer quick enough or I had not kept it stored in a freezer.
After a long email exchange steak king apologised for the rotten fish they had sold me, however instead of replacing or refunding my order they offered me a 5% discount on my next purchase

I've been buying from this company for over a year. Although I'm not an expert in western cooking, I've had some successes and a few failures. I’ve learned the different cooking times and methods for various cuts of beef. I finally discovered my favorite Picanha M9+ that everyone who tastes my cooking praises me like a master chef! I’m still learning and hope to maximize the quality of the meat. One suggestion would be for the company to pre-cut larger portions into family sizes, like slicing foie gras or halving short ribs, as I sometimes want to cook for two without defrosting a large piece.
My first purchase from this company included buffalo mozzarella cheese, which unfortunately was spoiled and had a strong acidic taste. I reached out via email for clarification, but had to repeatedly explain as they insisted there was no issue with the cheese. This experience has led me to decide against future purchases.
I appreciate the honesty of the owner, who shares both the positives and negatives of the meats offered. The Australian beef, especially with discounts, is of the highest quality and value in the area! Recently tried seafood and poultry, which were also impressive. The loyalty program is fantastic as I enjoy dining in the establishment. Thank you for the excellent service, and please continue the good work!
