Stressless Wing Signature Recliner

Purchased the Stressless Wing Signature Recliner and had it delivered in January of this year. After only six weeks of limited usage,I noticed very premature indenting in the leather seat and wing. I called the dealer with my concern and was told that leather does wear that way- I said I was very familiar with leather furniture as we have always had leather and this was in no way “normal” wear. Eventually the dealer ordered another seat and after waiting months the seat was changed out and the back of the wing had some foam replacement done. It looked “Okay” but definitely not like a chair of less than a year old should look. Now after having the chair back for a couple of months, it looks like nothing was done. It took me a long time to decide on this purchase. $4500 plus is not an amount I would normally spend on a chair unless I had researched the brand. Really sorry that I didn’t read all the negative reviews until it was too late. I will be contacting the dealer once again as my chair is still guaranteed, but really wonder if the quality is just not there anymore. Save your money-Get a LazyBoy-Sorry I didn’t

Stressless MIKE chair

I purchased the Mike electric chair. From day one it was uncomfortable in any version of recline. The headrest sometimes works and many times not. The leather is of poor quality. Any company I entertain try's sitting in the chair and after 5 minutes they find it uncomfortable. I’ll try and sell it at a steep loss just to get rid of it. It cost almost 50% more than other well made recliners. Stressless is no more - it’s STRESSFUL. Any body want to buy my chair at 1/3 the price I paid for it?

I needed the seat pads replacing..

I needed the seat pads replacing... after several months of contact I got nowhere with them or any of their recommended contacts.For a midrange sofa I'd expect a decent customer experience. For a premium brand like Stressless I'd expect them to be offering a robust one. Sadly, I won't be buying nor recommending Stressless again. Avoid.

Stressless is overpriced, poor quality with appalling customer service.

I have had issues with my Stressless suite which I purchased in November 2021. These items cost in excess of £7000.00 and whilst the settee has been completed after a saga regarding wrong items being sent and this in the end took over 6 week’s to resolve.Whilst Stressless asked me to send them details of the chair issue with the which I did over 5 weeks ago they have not even had the courtesy to acknowledge my email. I did initially go via the company where I purchased the suite but was informed “ 1 year guarantee” and after they contacted Stressless they were not interested and didn’t have the decency to contact me personally.This is terrible customer service and whilst I was an avid supporter of this company, I am afraid they have lost their way.The quality is no longer there and it seem to me that they are living on the reputation that they had prior to selling out. Don’t waste your money for the overpriced, poor quality it now is.

Do they really care when things go wrong?

After 3 years of owning an Emily reclining sofa the controller is proving temperamental. I contacted Stessless in London who fobbed me off to customer services. No reply from them after contacting them.

Reno ::Electric Footrest falls off- Twice so far

Reno Electric: After about 15 mths, both screws holding the footrest snapped off completely.We lodged a ticket. When the technician arrived he didn't have detailed understanding of the chair and hadn't read any of the notes on the ticket. It took 2 visits to get it fix it.3 months later - its broken again - same problem, same technician. only one bolt had broken but he broke the 2nd. So my chair is broken, 4 weeks before parts come and still no guarantee that we can get a skilled person to problem.

Ekornes no longer represents quality

If people are wondering what has happened to Stressless in terms of quality and longevity, just take a look a who owns the company now - the Chinese. Since 2018 things have REALLY changed with Stressless furniture. It’s actually soooo deeply disturbing to see a local Norwegian company that worked so incredibly hard to build and develop such a magnificent brand get destroyed in such a short time.

Leather is peeling and discolored on…

Leather is peeling and discolored on the couch only. I have the Buckingham couch and loveseat. No problem with the love seat yet. Not worth the money. After reading reviews on people not getting results and crummy customer service I would would not buy again. My couches are 6 years old. After the reviews I think the quality has gone down immensely. At the prices now I can replace leather furniture 4x and still save money. Don't support companies that are in it for the money only. They have no pride in their craft

DONT BUY THIS CHAIR!!!

I paid over 3000.00 my Stressless Max chair in Jan 2022 and today (15 May 23) the glider portion broke a second time. I have to wait for the company I purchased it from to contact Ekorness by email to get the warranty work done. Not a good quality for a chair.
