Review Time
Waiting for customer service on the phone for 1.5 hour and did nothing on my request to cancel my claim. My car just had a scratch and their service provider has the lowest review and bad service in my area. Total waste of my time and money. I was even planning to get a house and content insurance with you cos I’ve been with you for 5 years now but forget about it. Absolutely Pathetic!
Price increase by almost 50%:Since last year I have a House and Content Insurance with Suncorp and my CTP with them. They increased this year my annual amount by whopping 48%. fyi - I have not claimed anything last year. How do they justify that?
Pathetic!!!!!Still waiting for advise for a windscreen (genuine) not a frankenstein replacement that has the rear view mirror constantly falling off smashing onto centre consul and bouncing under drivers feet. Suppose when it compromises control of the vehicle and a major accident occurs we will let the litigation team decide on your culpability and personal damages settlement.Glad it was not a major claim, that would probably take months to resolve not just a windscreen. Just lucky I have the "Comprehensive Advantages" cover which is pretty much worthless!!!!!
It's a shame i had to pick one star, as don't think they deserve that. The frauds team are ultimately a secret society that operate on their own time. If you have a "Fraudulent Activity" block slapped on your account, good luck getting a resolution. They will call you when THEY are ready. Additionally, half way through changing over all of our banking accounts to them, they decided that my wife and i were fraudulent and closed all of our accounts. Once again, a call of the frauds team. The untouchable, judgmental team.Do not join Suncorp, run to the hills!!!
Do not expect Suncorp to care at all about your suffering ect. I had a claim against 3rd party as their client ran his car into a cafe where I was drinking coffee and feeling great. It was horrific and I ended up at the hospital. I got loads of internal injuries, back and leg. They started my Physio then found out I had had a small back issue previously and frozen shoulder so had been out of work at time of accident. I was recovering and had been on a 16 week gym ect therapy for over a month feeling great. Previous to frozen shoulder I worked full time. They treated me like a criminal trying to get money, stopped my therapy and were very mean. OMG they coursed me so much stress my mental state got really bad on top of injuries. Two years later they have offered me a ridiculous amount of money not even covering bills I need to pay because of accident. Shame Shame on Suncorp who I now know to be one of the worse insurance companies you can ever be with!! Beware they can not be trusted to care at all and will make you feel like a criminal while smiling at you. Evil insurance company!!!!!!!!
House insurance. A year after the floods last March we still have two ceiling leaks and it's still not fixed. Just found out it's decline due to a hairline crack in our roof tile and another concern. Neither were an issue previously. Suncorp agreed to only do ceiling plaster and paint but not fix the roof. We have never claimed before on our house insurance either but will now look to move due to the slow nature and unreasonable decline of half our claim. Our roof looks to be in good repair. They seem to just find ways to get out of it. Were we meant to go up their annually with a Magnifying glass?
I have had my online/mobile app and debit card locked since December. It's almost February writing this review and no one, not a single word nor miss call or email has been received from their supposed investigations team. I was told initially by their phone customer service back on December that I need to go to a bank branch to get it unlocked but like some of the reviews here, they could not do anything, they just sit on their hands. I was told that there was a suspected fraudulent attempt at my account the day it was locked out, when I went to the branch, I told them all those transactions the previous day was all done by me. Brought my identification, proved them that I was the owner of the account, but nothing. Went to another branch, same thing. What's the purpose of sending a customer to a branch if you can't do anything anyway?It's like this bank hates its customers. They don't want my money. It's so bad that I can't even close off the account! DO NOT deal with this bank, all you will get is inaction and bad customer service. They do not want to help you nor care about you. Put your money somewhere else.I have already sent an email to their complaints team but I honestly doubt it that I will get a reply, that's how seriously I think how incompetent their customer service is.
Applied for the credit card and received a phone call requesting additional information to support the application. After providing this the bank officer said the application could now be processed. FOUR MINUTES after hanging up the phone I received an email stating that AFTER CAREFUL CONSIDERATION that my application was declined. I am pursuing this but after being transferred four times to finally end up in an overseas call centre with abysmal line quality, I gave up.
