Skyrocketing premiums

Land Lord Insurance - Skyrocketing premiums 2022 - $450 Per annum 2023 - $752 Per annum - Increase of 67% 2024 - $1,265 Per annum - Increase of 68% 2025 - $2,364 Per annum - Increase of 87%On top of this I get some lippy attitude laden call centre individual called Debbie when I called up to speak to someone about reviewing the premium. Good bye Suncorp, I'll be taking this and the other 4 policies I have with you away, clearly you don't need my business.

Suncorp will STEAL your bank card!

I used my non Suncorp ATM card today to withdraw cash from a Suncorp ATM, and the machine swallowed my card. I went into the branch to ask for their help and I was informed that they couldn’t retrieve my ATM card because it wasn’t a Suncorp card, however if it was a Suncorp bank card they may have been able to!! I was flat out refused assistance and told that I would have to contact my bank and report my card as lost!! Absolutely appalling customer service, and absolutely no accountability taken for the fact that Suncorp literally stole my card!!!

Suncorp Car Insurance

Hi everyone, whoever is reading this review. Please never ever buy the insurance from Suncorp. If you read this review and still buy. You would remember this review one day and regret. I wish i could rate them -100. I can't explain the pain I went through dealing with them. Paid $256 a month for comprehensive insurance, 6 month from the date made a claim, still not finalised. It was simple claim where another car hit from behind. White collar scammers.

This bank is legitimately the worst…

This bank is legitimately the worst bank I've ever had the pleasure of banking with. Their systems are pathetic, their user experience is crap, their customer support are probably fed up because their processes are incredibly dumb, and in the 2 years I've had my home loan with them, they've done NOTHING to improve any of this. Now, when moving my OWN money out of my accounts to another one of my OWN accounts, they've completely blocked and cut access to my internet banking and all of my money. Not only that, I have called 4 times and spent over an hour on the phone to them to try to get them to fix this. First two times waiting took too long. Then this morning the first customer service rep hung up on me while she was mid sentence asking me a question, THEN I called back again and "the fraud detection team don't start until 9am" so now I need to call back a FIFTH time. Do these people think others just have all day to sit on the phone to Suncorp for problems with their own bullshit processes? They have no regard nor care for the value of their customer's time.My advice is stay away from this bank. Any other bank in the country is better than Suncorp, literally, and I've banked with CBA, Westpac, Bank SA, Macquarie, ING, NAB, Bank Australia etc. They're ALL infinitely better than Suncorp, in every single way.

Is your money safe from scammers, even banks go alo g with them

I cancelled my direct debit with EziDebit more than 2 months ago. Also blocked them on my Bank Account. But this is how disgusting this company is I noticed a Direct Debit again today. When I contacted my bank I was told that EziDebit get around blocks by debiting under a different name. So they change the name to EziDebitblock account and they can continue into the future continuously changing their name slightly and SUNCORP BANK told me that this is quite legal for them to do that. The only advise SUNCORP could give me was to keep my fingers crossed and hope it doesn't happen again, yes I agree that's not a reassuring advise from a bank but I was pretty much told if in doubt close my account and reopen a new account until I guess the next time I need to give my account details to make a purchase and then close the new account and open up another account. I use the card for online shopping at Coles and many other stores I got a feeling ill soon get tired of closing & opening bank accounts to keep them safe. Did anyone else realize their money is absolutely not safe from fraud in the bank or is it just suncorp.

Most incompetent banking systems i've experienced ever

I have a mortgage with them, and have had this mortgage refinanced to them about 5+ months ago. I've also wanted a mortgage offset feature added to my account, havent had it yet, they dont seem to want to give it to me either. It's a unit i've been paying off for a decade. But the latest debacle has me pissed. They just declined me, after ~2 months of giving me the runaround (i work night shift, and talk for a living, i dont like phone calls but make them when i have to and have the time), declined me for a CC without giving me a reason.I've had CC's since i was 18, i don't max them out, i dont have any debt other than the mortgage, i own my own car, they dont share any data between their mortgage team and all other banking systems on their platform (6+months later i received an email claiming that they no longer operate this way internally, whatever), and so they required me to resend data they already possessed and jump through hoops for no reason. Maybe the reduced pay in my payslips i gave them was the cause? (i had bronchitis and lost alot of work that month, but it was clearly displayed in the slips that it was unpaid sick leave, so unless their tech support are unable to understand a simple thing like "unpaid sick leave" as an unusual-scenario, its a skill issue)On top of that, getting screwed around with impotent call centre staff (that are often very indian) that don't seem to be allowed to do what you ask them to. Its infuriating, i have things i need sorted, i don't want to have to login to separate banking systems just to get a functional credit card, i HATE the time wasting that happens, and the lack of transparency. I've been with multiple banks over the years, this is easily the worst experience i've ever had. Westpac were also mediocre on the admin side but nothing on this scale.

never use suncorp and suncorp's partners

Unfortunately, there's no option to give a zero-star rating here! Suncorp Insurance (including AAMI, GIO, and AAI—all the same under different names) fails to provide quality service for customers and car repairs. You have the option to choose your own repairer or go with their recommended repairer. However, if you choose your own, Suncorp often neglects to support the customer and seems to avoid providing assistance. When customers request information, Suncorp frequently refuses to share it. The only solution to this issue seems to be involving the ACCC, Fair Trading, or other relevant consumer protection services.

Don’t insure your home with GIO

I’ve had a terrible time with GIO insurance after my home was flooded. They wouldn’t investigate a cracked pipe under ground although I pointed it out to the claims team on the house plans at the outset. GIO did no physical inspections, denied the claim and said i should do my own investigation! I got a plumber to find the pipe but GIO won’t pay the cost of this. Looks like a scam in their claims system forcing the insured to pay to find the cause. Complaint to the regulator on foot.
