The instructor Andrew (Drew) is great. He helped my young son (6 years old) with confidence in the water. When we started, he would not allow his hair to get wet! In a short time he was attempting new things and is now swimming, albeit short distances, on his own. The admin side was straight forward and easily understood: trial lesson followed by a subscription. Thank you.
Ayo (Birmingham) is great. In the space of just 6 lessons I went from being very nervous even putting my head in the water, to swimming front crawl without a float. Learning to swim is such a life changing experience for me and I can't thank Ayo enough for his patience and kindness throughout the process. I highly recommend Swim Now.
I've been having lessons with Jas in Cardiff and she's been absolutely amazing! It can be daunting to try and start swimming again as an adult but Jas made me feel so comfortable and got me swimming confidently within a few weeks. If you’re thinking of having lessons but feeling anxious or unsure, just go for it, there's nothing to worry about!
Jasmin at Cardiff is a great coach. My main reason for booking with Swim now was to improve my technique. I found Jasmin very knowledgable and patient. I had an hour lesson with her and she picked up very early on into the lesson some bad habits. I have a month or two practice but with be booking once I have mastered the work she set. I watched her with another lady and was impressed with her enthusiasm and patience. Highly recommended for both people who can swim and those who want to learn.
There are lots of good points my Grandson has enjoyed the 7 months of lessons . Our venue did not have a deep end , so he didn’t learn how to jump in or swim in a deep end. Much smaller length pool so I don’t think he could still swim a good length of the pool . Had improved his front and breast stroke . However before we started his back stroke was strong , he seems to have gone backwards . If your lesson is cancelled it’s difficult to get new slots , especially when you are the one chasing up all the time for a list of available times which is very annoying . Don’t always get a full hour especially when you instructor stops and speaks to another client running over in your time . However all said if there was a better venue or instructor then maybe would be more positive. However it’s partly my fault as I should have spoken up and complained . One last fault promised a certificate for my grandson never appeared even though he actually promised it directly to him .
