Review Time
I recieved my item and unfortunately it had been damaged on the way to me. Swords kingdom agreed to replace the item for me without any hesitation. Although it took a little while to come (was sent in the christmas period) i was very satisfied with the outcome! Thankyou swords kingdom- im more than happy with the replacement item and i will be ordering from you again.
Had a nightmare ordering a sword and shield from this company, which I never received and had to claim a refund for (which I believe I almost didn't get). The webpage states if you're in the UK you can expect to receive the item within 3 - 5 days, and the product page still says this.First time I had to contact them was after two weeks of no item and no communication. Was told I didn't read the website and there's a banner saying to expect delays (I could not find this).Waited a few more weeks, no communication, no dispatch email. Contacted again - was told item was to be shipped from Pakistan and will take a while longer. This was nearing the 2 month point and I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt.After a few more exchanges and more delays with promises of them sending me an email with tracking information, I finally got a tracking number by using the web chat again.Watched the tracking for a couple of weeks and it still said DHL were waiting for the item from SwordsKingdom. This was nearing the 3 month cutoff point that banks have to retrieve your funds if you have a dispute, so I was getting anxious. Contacted chat a couple more times and eventually, after threatening to retrieve the funds via my bank, I received my refund. Overall, a really unpleasant experience. I kept all the chat logs for reference, and it just looks like they tried to fob me off until the three month period, after which I suspect I wouldn't hear a word from them again.Extremely frustrating to contact customer service as the only option is either email or an online webchat. If you contact via webchat, expect to be at your computer for 45 minutes as responses are slow. I am also under the impression they blocked my browser from accessing the web chat - I had to access it via an incognito browser in order for the chat to appear. This happened on both my PC and Mobile browsers.Final note - It says free shipping, but you will have to pay customs duty on your order. This is stated in the FAQ's on the website, but you have to dig to find it.
I originally came here and reviewed it 1 star because I felt I may have been scammed after no contact for about 2 weeks. However the customer support via chat reassured me a little when they confirmed my order and that it was just delayed because they had a lot of orders to fulfil but I would definitely recieve it before Christmas or I could have a refund if I wanted. I chose to give them a chance and a week later I recieved the item (today). It is fantastic value for money, great workmanship for the price. I would suggest the company work on making customer support more easily available and also the tracking status of your order from the moment the order is placed. I received no email confirmation detailing my order or any further tracking information which is probably why customers get worried.I love the quality of the product and I genuinely think the company are good and decent but just need to work on the customer support. I will absolutely be purchasing more but please improve the order tracking status.
Absolute joke purchased a shield from these guys on the 20th Nov heard nothing from them until 2 days ago after multiple messages went unanswered. I said I would contact my bank for a refund. I then got a reply saying they have dispatched it and gave me a tracking code for dpd and said it would go live by Thursday evening.Now Friday evening is here and dpd still have not received it from S.k.AVOID this place service has gone right downhill
UPDATE:I have now received confirmation of order and was provided with a tracking number from a trusted delivery service. Delivery is expected sooner than I thought.I made an order and payment was accepted. A week later no confirmation email or any information on when I can expect delivery. I've contacted them multiple times and no response. Seems as though they've taken the money and that will be it. I will update this review if the situation changes.
These guys are really hit and miss. I placed 3 orders, 1 was delivered 2 were not. Their webchat no longer works on the UK site, and never seems to be responded to on the USA site. Their email form just goes into a black hole - none of the emails I have sent have received a response. My single biggest piece of advice is PAY BY CREDIT CARD!!!! The claim refund process was incredibly simple.It is a real shame because the quality and price of the products offered is really first rate. I get the sense it is a man in a shed who is fronting the company - if you can sort your order process/customer service you will be on to a winner mate!
