Absolutely brilliant product and customer service. I ordered what turned out to be a gorgeous sofa BUT I gave my old address! I only realised when the poor driver phoned to say they were there. I used the online chat function (with an actual human being) and a redelivery date was arranged for 2 days later, a Saturday. I was given a 2 hour slot and the driver phoned when they were 30 minutes away. It was delivered and installed quickly and politely. I can't recommend this company highly enough.
This company is shambolic.
I will update this if my issue is resolved but so far the experience has been shocking, and the sofa hasn't even been delivered yet.
I spoke to someone on the phone at Swyft and was encouraged to buy the final sofa available, given there was one left and the fabric was being discontinued. I purchased the Model 13 and 2 ottomans to go with it. £2.4k this cost me.
Fast forward to a week or so before the delivery date, and they had to push it back a month. No real explanation as to why. I dealt with someone over the phone who said there was absolutely nothing he could do for me besides grant me a £50 goodwill payment (which is pitiful for a £2.4k purchase). The call ended and I was refunded £100 - so he lied, which is worse than anything else he could've done and the £100 was just a waste of Swyft's money as it had no impact on me after that.
Yesterday, I received a copy/paste email to say hi sorry your ottoman is out of stock, "would you like to wait or change the fabric for your full order?".
Swyft, this is £2.4k of my money. That is not a small price to pay and you should not be providing a diabolical service like this.
No one picked up the phone to tell me. The email didn't explain if it was even worth waiting - i.e. how long is it going to take? Is it even possible given I was previously told the fabric was being discontinued?
What exactly is going to be done about this? I've been looking forward to this sofa for months and all of a sudden the whole thing might need to be canned and no one can call me to explain exactly what I can expect? I could've spent time researching other sofas in the time I've been strung along by Swyft. It's not just a waste of my money (which I could've been using for other means, or could've been making me money in interest in the time that Swyft has had it), but it's a massive waste of time and emotional energy. There is no excuse for it.
This needs to be sorted out as soon as possible.
Steer Clear. The item was delivered significantly late, and the delivery team caused damage to my walls. The sofa bed arrived 21 days later than expected. I took time off work, anticipating its arrival, which disrupted my schedule. When it finally arrived, the couriers claimed it was curbside delivery, despite assurances of in-room delivery up two flights of stairs. They reluctantly agreed to take it up one flight but left deep scratches on my walls during the process. I've had other delivery teams move larger items without any issues. After months of patience and communication, the company denied any responsibility and offered no solutions. Avoid this service, especially if you're ordering from Ireland, as they do not take accountability for their delivery personnel and have caused significant damage to my home.
This has been one of the most disappointing and poorly managed customer experiences I've faced in recent years. My sofa arrived damaged, was missing essential components, and was unusable for weeks. Cushions were left outside on a wet surface during delivery, the sofa itself was damaged, and my wall was scratched. When I attempted to assemble it, I found that the main seat cushion and legs were entirely missing, making a significant purchase completely ineffective. What ensued were months of follow-ups, sending photos, waiting for updates, and being repeatedly informed that there was no confirmed timeline for the correct replacement cushion. At one point, I had to suggest that any color cushion be sent just so we could sit down at all. Even now, the correct cushion has yet to be delivered, with the date continually pushed out to February. Here’s where it becomes unacceptable. While the issue remains unresolved, the company tried to redefine previous compensation for earlier delivery failures as part of a new settlement, essentially attempting to limit overall compensation instead of addressing the ongoing issue. In simple terms: they are trying to close the case cheaply while the problem persists. A partial refund was discussed and agreed upon based on the understanding that this situation would be resolved. Instead, they processed a payment that only reaches that figure by quietly including past, unrelated compensation. That is not resolution; it’s accounting tricks. To be clear: The product was delivered damaged It arrived incomplete It was unusable for an extended time The final replacement is still pending There is still no certainty this won’t drag on further Attempting to “close the case” before fixing the issue is not goodwill; it’s avoidance. The only positive note is that the customer service representative has been polite and professional throughout. However, friendly emails do not make up for systemic failures, broken processes, and a company strategy that seems designed to wear down the customer into acceptance. I intentionally delayed leaving a review to give the company the chance to resolve this properly. That opportunity has now been squandered. If you are considering this service, understand this:
If anything goes wrong, you are in for months of uncertainty, partial solutions, shifting timelines, and compensation discussions that feel designed to minimize responsibility rather than resolve the issue. This is not a premium experience. I will never use this service again.
After four years, the model 2 sofa has become quite uncomfortable and the seat is sagging. The back cushions frequently have feathers sticking out, which can be quite sharp and are misshapen as well. Initially, it seemed like a great purchase, but now I'm eager to replace it. The durability I expected from a quality item is simply not there anymore.
We recently purchased a sofa and are pleased with the product and the service. However, we are quite disappointed with the delivery experience. They promised to deliver the sofa to a room of our choice, but the delivery team initially refused to bring it inside. After some persuasion, they agreed to take it upstairs, but they rushed through the process. The box was too large to fit through the stairs, and they resorted to kicking and punching it to force it through the entrance, resulting in damage to the door and freshly painted walls. I tried to caution them about the size of the box, but they continued to push until damage occurred, leading to my frustration. I ended up unboxing the sofa pieces myself and carrying them upstairs in smaller sections more efficiently. Thankfully, my decorator assisted me in repainting the walls and the handrail, but the door remains scratched.
I ordered and paid for a sofa with a confirmed delivery date. However, the evening before delivery, I received a message stating it couldn’t be delivered. On the morning of the scheduled delivery, I got an email from the company indicating a stock issue and that they were out of the item I ordered. I attempted to call, but their phone lines were down. Eventually, I received an email saying they had located one sofa in the warehouse and I could receive it the following week. This delivery has now been missed, and I haven't received any responses to my emails. When I try to call, I only get a message saying they are very busy and to leave a message. If I hadn’t previously purchased a different sofa from them (which is excellent), I would be inclined to think this whole situation is a scam.
The Model 10 sofa is stunning. I've only had it for a day, but it's truly wonderful. Assembly was straightforward, though the arm was slightly misaligned and required some adjustment to fix. There were a few nerve-wracking moments when we feared we might have damaged it! It's a sturdy piece of furniture that looks fantastic. The delivery in two boxes alleviated the stress of maneuvering through the tight corners and narrow hallways of our home. The delivery time was accurate and hassle-free. It's comfortable, although not overly soft, but I believe it will soften with use. Absolutely love it!
