Really strong wheel build by Tarty.Ordered a 26' wheel with a Hope Pro 5 Trials, Swiss FR560 and spokes. Had a massive hit to the wheel trying to jump up a stair case this summer. Didn't get quite high enough and hit the edge of the top step with high speed. Went straight through both the tyre and the light insert and casued a dent in the right bed of the rim. Gently straightened the dent as much as i dared and sanded sharp edges. New tyre and heavier insert mounted and held air on the first attempt. No spokes needed to be adjusted, and the wheel is still 100% true. Amazing quality rim and build, thanks!
It was great. Just imagining that the package arrived from the UK makes me excited. They had a 22T chainring made by Inspired Bicycle that was compatible with Shimano's direct mount cranks, so I bought it right away. I also got a TartyBike original T-shirt and keychain.

Placed order online for Crank pedal thread repair helicoiling. Quick call to helpful Ben to check I could drop damaged crank off at Tarty Bikes. Cycled over to Bamber Bridge and dropped crank off with Ben Wed lunchtime, repaired crank with pedal attached delivered to my home early Friday morning. A belated review, but the repaired crank has now been ridden for over 1100 miles. Great service, job very well done, very reasonable cost. A very satisfied customer, thank you Ben. Will happily recommend Tarty Bikes to friends and use their services again.
