I bought my bike through a company cycle to work initiative. I've had it for less than a month, and a problem has arisen. There's a clunking sound with every pedal revolution, and I can feel vibrations in my foot. I reached out to the support team, who asked for proof of purchase, which I provided. They requested a video of the noise, but that's not feasible since it only occurs under load, like when going uphill, along with a photo of the motor's QR code. I suspect the issue is with the bottom bracket, not the motor. Later, I received an email from a different representative stating that I need to return it to the original seller for repair by a skilled mechanic. I clarified that there’s no physical shop involved, just the cycle to work program through my employer. They insisted that the company is responsible, as they only handle orders with various bike manufacturers. What should be a straightforward process has turned complicated; the bike is defective, and if this isn't resolved, I will have to return it to the company.
I purchased my bike CGO 600 Pro through my companies cycle to work scheme (Dashrides.com). I have had the bike less than a month and a fault has developed. When i pedal, i can hear a clunk on every revolution, i can feel the vibration through my foot also. I contacted Tenways who asked some questions and asked for proof of purchase which i provided. i was asked to send video of the noise which is not possible as it only makes the noise under load i.e going uphill, also a photo of the QR code of the motor, the problem is not motor related, i believe it is the bottom bracket. i was then contacted by email by someone completey different saying i have to take it back to the shop i purchased from and a skilled mechanic would need to fix it. i said in the previous emails there is no shop involved just the cycle to work scheme who i purchased through work. They have told me that Tenways are responsible, they only place the orders with the different bike companies. this should be a simple process being made very difficult, the bike is faulty and if not resolved i will have to send it back to Tenways
I've had a Tenways CGO600 Pro for 2,5 years and as of now it's officially just a useless piece of, visually, quite good design. It started out bad, the frontwheel spokes not aligned before shipping. And on and on it went from there. Soooo many parts have been changed and the bike have been at the repair shop in stead of on the road with me for soooo many weeks. Now it's out of warranty and the last expensive parts not covered by repair warranty are now failing - along with some of the changed that are now failing for the second time. I just can't cope any more. Worst experience ever with a bike. It's not the most expensive brand, no, but it's not free either. If you try your luck, at least buy yours form a local, decent bike shop you trust, in stead of directly from tenways.com. While customer support have been solution oriented in the warranty period, it's an administrative hassle relaying repair recepits between local repair shop and customer support.
I've got a bike from them and had an issue with the battery, and I was within the warranty. The support was very responsive, they helped right away and fixed for me very fast and didn't have to pay anything. Overall happy with the aftersale service and the bike which I had for a year till now
I've had my Tenways bike since July 2022, and it has been one problem after another: battery, motor, cables, you name it. I've contacted their support six times over the years (Dec 2022, Jul 2023, Feb 2024, Aug 2024, May 2025 and Nov 2025), and while they have helped me before, the issues ALWAYS come back. Now that my warranty is over, I'm being told I need to pay for any spare parts.I'm furious because what I need is their accountability. The long list of recurring issues proves this is not an isolated case or "bad luck", it's a clear sign of poor product quality. A bike at this price range should not need constant repairs and endless troubleshooting. This bike is not just for leisure, I use it every day for my work commute. Every time it breaks down, I'm forced to spend a lot on transportation in Denmark just to get to work. For a bike that costs over €2.000, this level of unreliability is completely unacceptable.
Have a bike for a little over a year now and have had so many problems with it, all battery related. It will just stop working randomly, I've had the battery replaced twice, and also had the cradle that it sits in completely replaced, and it just cut out again without warning this week, didn't work for two days and then just started working again. Don't waste your money on this.
Attention all, scammer alertI am writing to share my experience with the Tresway e-bike company. I had watched a review by a well-respected YouTuber, e-VRC, and decided to try the Tresway 7x 30 Ahp, which came with a seat that I believed would be ideal for my son.Unfortunately, I received the e-bike in a damaged box without any protective packaging. I promptly contacted the seller, who apologised profusely. However, I was still dissatisfied with the experience.I proceeded to assemble the e-bike without following the instructions provided, which I believed should have been included with the bike. Upon connecting the wires, I noticed an unusual noise from the motor, which soon escalated into an alarm. Subsequently, the e-bike locked me out, demanding that I enter a password and stop the motor.I have since contacted the company again, and they have provided me with a video tutorial on how to connect the components correctly and how to reset the password. I am hopeful that this will rectify the issue and provide me with a satisfactory experience with the Tresway e-bike.Since acquiring this e-bike less than a month ago, I have only been able to use it for the initial few days, and the frustration has been overwhelming. In response to my previous email regarding the bike and its noise, the manufacturer promptly contacted me via email. After sending them a video of the bike and the issue, they informed me that there was a broken mower and that they would send me a replacement part for me to reconnect the new motor myself. I dis agreed stating that I am not an e-bike mechanic and do not understand why all e-bikes are not inspected before delivery. I agreed to receive the replacement bike, and they assured me that they would send me another replacement after a back-and-forth of emails. The manufacturer then stated that they would pick up the bike and deliver it to me. However, I did not pick up the bike they sent me. Instead, I received a replacement bike. Consequently, I now have two bikes. The manufacturer claimed that there would be no problems with the new bike. However, the new bike did not meet my expectations. The only thing I would have to do was change the front wheel bike, which I own. I can easily change the front wheel, but when a bike actually arrived. It lacked a motor, battery, and screen. Furthermore, it did not have any front brakes. None of the cables were connected, causing significant cable problems and preventing me from getting any power to the back of the bike. The manufacturer demanded that I repair the bike myself and remove all the parts from the old bike. Why would they send me a bike that had not been thoroughly checked to ensure that everything was running smoothly? There was another round of back-and-forth emails, and now I am stuck with two bikes that are completely non-functional. This company is a prime example of a scam. They constantly email you back, demanding that you perform all the repairs and fix their bikes for them. The frustration of spending so much money and not receiving any compensation is overwhelming.I have incurred financial losses and wasted time with this company. I am currently left with two e-bikes that are not functioning. I have contacted them regarding compensation, but they have informed me that they will only provide compensation once I have ceased my dispute, which I have initiated through an open paper dispute.I am not willing to undertake the repairs myself, I am concerned that this may void the warranty which there is none when you buy from a Chinese company and selling to people in different countries .I strongly advise against using this company. It is not a reputable business that should be trusted. I urge everyone to avoid this company and seek alternative options to avoid a situation where I am forced to purchase a new e-bike from a reputable company at my expense.
I had bought 2 bicycles from tenways. CGO800S and CGO 600. First was bought in the local store trough lease, second online. Everything went perfectly smooth. I like both bicycles, but cgo800s was taken by my daughter from me so I had to buy another one. I went for belt CGO 600. It is even better suited for me than cgo800s. Range good super light. U really can ride it without the engine assistance. CGO 600 is also in very nice price range.
