Review Time
I needed to convert one document and paid for the process three times. One week later, I find that, by default, I have “agreed” to their monthly subscription of £39.95 !! They respond by stating that their agreement is legal and that it was clearly indicated, that the small print had to be read and by using their 7 day free trial was an act of acceptance ?! Ridiculous !It is deceiving, deceitful and immoral. Who would pay £39.95 to convert a single document if they were conned into doing it ?!
Thebestpdf.com is full of traps for the user. Whenever you need to do something a popup shows up asking if you do not want a subscription. Normally, it would not be a big issue, but such popups do not have a "Yes" and "No" or "Accept" and "Reject" set of buttons. The text on the buttons is so misleading. It tricked me once when I was working on a one-time job document into making a subscription I did not need. Two months later I noticed the bank transactions and I cancelled the rogue subscription after some struggle with the sneaky popups. Imagine a single document edit costed me more than 80 euros in the end. Once they get you, you need to be extra careful to get rid of them. Good software, but such immoral marketing! I advice everyone to stay away from them.
